Konnichi wa minna-san!! It's time for the Band of the Week! I'm picking another little known band, because that's what I like to do: band promotion! They have an AMAZING sound that is very unique!! Kind of like how Nirvana was to the US!! Their new mini album, Dr. STERBEN (Dr. Death) was released on April 23rd under Nippon Crown label. NOW THEY HAVE THE CHANCE FOR A BIGGER FAN BASE!! *Sigh* I just KNEW this was going to happen! GRR! Stupid printer....I HATE JOO!!! The reason I'm ranting is this ( I don't know why it took me so long to post this)....most of the request pictures printed out.....decently. Except for one. It's barely identifiable! There is so little to work with! The ink in the stupid printer ran out....AGAIN! You may ask yourselves "Well, why can't you draw it from the computer screen?" I would, but sadly I don't have my own compy. I have to share it with 4 other people who are all computer hogs. (Especially the youngest) *sighs heavily* I'll PM the person who requested it to let them know that their piccy didn't come out. I think I have a solution though. I'll talk it over. SuG has only been around for a little while, BUT BOY DO THEY HAVE A BIG FANBASE! In the small amount of time they've been around, SuG's already released 2 singles and a mini album! Not to mention they were included at the J-Rock Invasion concert that took place at Cologne, Germany in December! Kyaa~SuG was formed in October 2006 by Takeru (vocals), masato (guitar), yuji (guitar), who had all been members of TRAVEL, and Shouta (bass, ex-AmeriA). In November, MITSURU (known as Aoshi while with Retina) joined as the drummer.
The band started doing stuff in early 2007, and soon after Shouta left and was replaced by the current bassist Chiyu. After all of this, they were finally signed to the indies division of PS Company, one of the most well known and respected visual-kei labels. Then came the time to release theirmaxi single Scheat in August and Alterna in September! To end my little fangirly rant about SuG, they released a mini-album called I SCREAM PARTY and made their overseas debut at Cologne, Germany on December 29th for the J-Rock Invasion concert! Konnichiwa minna-san! O Genki desu ka? Genki desu!^^ I'm stuggling with a few ideas for my new hairstyle. I've had this one for over a year (uncut might I add), and I REALLY want a new one. SO. I put the piccie at the bottom of the page.
The drawings are coming along slowly but surely! My hand keeps cramping up! >.< But at least my back doesn't hurt as much anymore! For two of them, I think there'll be color....I was practicing yesterday, and it looked really good!
