OH HAI.
So I went to Animazement on Thursday and got back today. It's the big convention in North Carolina that I've started going to. My Maka cosplay was a huge success. SO MANY PICTURESSSS. My friends were so sick of trying to walk with me and constantly being stopped. People liked my outfit, but they really liked my scythe I made.

I'll have better pictures of my costume later~ Maybe. I know no one reads this.
Anyway, most of the convention was spent doing two things: Standing in line for Yamaguchi Kappei (the voice of L, Inuyasha, Ranma, Usopp, and more) and standing in line for NOIZ events hours before they began to insure good seats. It paid off, even though my feet are dead now. We were in the front against the railing for both concerts, in the front row for the Q&A session, in front for the DDR contest they did, and we had our pictures taken with the band individually. -CLICK TO SEE- 8DDD
Yamato is holding his hands as if he's holding my scythe, I'm pretty sure, 'cause they all perked up when I carried it into the room. xD
And they called me cute~!
During the DDR, they each gave up playing during their round against a fan. They'd start dancing around the stage or doing flips to show off, or even poking or jumping in front of their fan opponent to distract them. For the last round, all five played on one mat. Kyo stood in the middle with the other four each on an arrow trying to hit it at the right time. So silly~~
I also asked if they'd be preforming in Japan between Aug-Dec and they said yes! So I might try to track them down.
I have to say, this one went pretty awesomely, especially compared to last year's bust.
AZ is the convention near my home that I started going to after a girl in my college talked me into it. Now I've started dressing up as well. This year it'll be Maka, from Soul Eater, since she has brown hair and green eyes. I won't have to worry about changing mine~ Except, I don't have bangs and my hair's too long and thick, but I'm not going to worry that much about it. I get to carry around a massive scythe to make up for it?
Anyway, what conventions have you gone to, if any? Got any neat stories to share? I'd like to hear some. :'D
