News: Evangelion 2.22

For all you Otaku in North America out there, here's a reminder that if you missed your chances to catch any of the public theatre screenings "Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance" during this month, never fear as U.S.-based Anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment will brining the film itself on Region 1 DVD and Blu-ray on March 29, 2011. Note that it will be the "Evangelion 2.22" version that's getting the North American DVD release.

Also, make sure to pick up the April 2011 issue of the U.S. magazine series "Otaku USA" to check out its feature post on the film.

News: Evangelion 1.11

Attention fans of the "Evangelion" franchise in North America! If you haven't yet purchased a DVD/Blu-ray copy of "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" (2007) but want to see the movie itself, mark your calendars for March 9, 2010. For that day will mark the release of the DVD/Blu-ray edition "Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone", which is "Evangelion: 1.0" with new features and never-before-seen footage. Funimation will be distributing this new edition all around North America.
