I knew what you meant. :) It is a real talent to not let your negative emotions to take over. I grew up around angry people, so I guess I just finally had enough, so I know what you mean. :)
And maybe I will. The future is never certain. So, we'll just have to see how things go.
Of course that you weren't. I mean, you probably don't even know what kind of gift and good thing is to control yourself from anger. The best I tell you. Few traits are better than that. My whole life I am watching angry and upset people me... I have grown tired of that. Don't let others think that of you and that's why I said stay always like you are.^^ Thank you, I really appreciate those words.
Coaching is good! And you can even before that, I mean, I don't know when you will have kids, but I see that you already have big plans. :D But even before that, I am sure that you will be able to assist many.
Ya, I mean, I wasn't real bad or anything. I could never stay angry for very long. But, now, I hardly ever get upset, and when I do, it doesn't last for very long. Thanks! You're so nice! People could learn a thing or two from you!
Yup. I actually thought about coaching for awhile. Maybe when I have kids of my own some day. We'll see what I feel like then. IT's what my dad did. :)
So you were? But you changed at the end and that was a good change. People usually when make changes, it tends to be bad. So that's why I say that they then change on former state when they do change. But you are a good example for all others. I am sure that there are many people that have already looked up to that. So don't change anymore and just stay good. :)
That's good. So you are getting back slowly to it. Not anymore in the team... But hey, you can always play with friends like you said and even teach some. That's always good if nothing. :D
What's funny is that I used to be one of those people. I used to be, not depressed, but angry all the time, irritated easily. I yelled a lot, felt sad and lonely. But, I made a choice to change. I didn't want to be that person anymore. If I can do it, so can anyone else.
I go on walks and whatnot to strength the knee, and this summer, I plan on playing a little one on one basketball with a friend. Nothing intense. I'll never be able to be on a competitive team, but playing with friends is fun, and it's better than nothing.
Staying positive is the best way. I am sorry for those people that are born in other circumstances. All people are born equally, pure. Though other people that surround them make them different. But even if they are, if you are strong enough, you can counter even that and think from your head. You are very smart and there are not a lot people that think like you. Just keep being that.^^
Yup, but lightly ones. :) As for you, just keep believing in that and doing some lightly ones for your knee as well. I have seen many cases in which people later in life actually experience that miracle, just because they believed in it.
I do agree that a lot of the problem with people these days is that they don't take things as they come. Everything happens for a reason. There is a silver lining to every situation, even if it takes awhile to see what that light is. It's easier to stay angry and upset and depressed than it is to move on and stay positive, so people take the easy road out.
I'm so glad your spine is getting better! That's what counts. Good thing for exercises, huh? :)
I know how hard that was for you... I can only imagine what shocked you got after all that. These things happen and your was so dramatic that someone would think that you wrote a scenario for a movie. But actually it is all true and for that I am very sorry that you had to go through that...
But hearing that you think positive is good. :) Today fewer people try that. Thinking that just getting dark and negative minds and going in corner is easy and not a good way. Staying positive is harder, but much more better.
Thank you, but don't worry about it. Thanks to my exercises now, I can easily do even in this state. The only problem was that when I damaged it, doctor set the control for it, like month after that. It was insane, I mean I couldn't even move my back! At the end I haven't gone again to the doctor, but instead figured a series of exercises that will help me to cure my spin faster.
You have no idea how much this means to me. I think you do honestly understand what I went through, and that is something no one around me can say except for my dad (cuz he went through the same thing).
Staying positive is the key to any situation, and being upbeat is how I live. I just can't stay down and depressed for very long anymore. I've grown as a person, and that's why I'm better than I was in high school.
I'm sorry about your injury to your spine. That sounds like serious stuff! But, I'm glad you can still do it, even if you are hindered slightly. :)
I know that it meant something huge in your life. I do understand you. When you have something that you really like and love to do, and after you loose it, it feels like you have lost on reasons to live. Especially when it just happens. I know that you have gone over it and that you always try to stay positive, but it still hurts you a little. I know how it was when I damaged me spine. I am not in the normal kind of sports, just the fighting ones. I was then one time with my friends and we were practicing and I tried to do the impossible. To lift someone heavier and larger than me. I managed to do that, but in the end he fell on me (I think on purpose), so I could move my back right for couple of weeks, and after that for months I couldn't do many of the exercises, which I always try to do.
But I tried to stay positive as you are, and even though it wasn't that big shock to and precious like basketball is to you, at the actually it went getting better and better. Today it still hurts me a little sometimes, but I can't do everything again.
I hope that the same will happen with you and that there is still hope. :)
Thanks. It's really hard to put how I feel about this into words, so I did the best that I could. Basketball, and sports in general, has been such a huge part of my life, and to loose all of it was a huge blow to me. I don't think people really understand what it feels like. I feel like most people are just like, 'it's just a sport, get over it, move on.' Basketball was so much more to me than that. It was my life. Literally. So, I tried to convey that in this.
I really appreciate that you took the time to actually read this. :)
This was really deep and nice story. At first it felt like I am reading a written story and not your personal, but later I saw that actually it is your. It is kinda sad, because you have put so much into it.
But I like the last sentence of yours the most and how you positive stay behind. You will definitely be better, just believe in it!
