Ohhh. World posts? I agree, that is absolutely atrocious. How that even passes for the English language outside of texting-based word-shortening-for-lack-of-space circumstances, I don't know.
I agree, if you're writing something that others are going to read, you need to write in proper English. Or whatever your home language is if need be. Though I think most Otakus write English well, even if it isn't their first language.

Personally I think that it also makes it look like that one person really isn't trying to help write the story the the group is working on for the RP.

I'm not even talking about texting. I mean, I don't like to talk to people who talk like that, but I'm talking when you're writing a story, especially in a world where there are many people role playing with you and needed to read the post but can't because it just pisses them off.

I completely agree with you. It really irritates me trying to read RP posts on here that are in text speech. It's really annoying.

I hate grammatical mistakes and spelling errors (I'm the Grammar Police and I'm proud), but I still sometimes abbreviate "to" with 2 when I'm running out of characters. My cell has a limit of 160 before it splits the message into two separate texts, and my dad's on my case about the no. of texts I send/receive, so I try to cram things into one text if I can. Or I'll miss an apostrophe on purpose (I do have autocorrect) sometimes when I only need one or two more characters.

I hear ya there. I am part of the Bleach RP now and this group can put out the posts. Their creative, smart and a lot of fun to RP with. It is nice to go in their accounts and see clean text like you would when reading a book.

Some people need to get a clue when they write something that will be shared with many others.

I can maybe understand if you do it in a text. It's text talk. I don't like it, but I can understand.
I just don't understand people who do it in a RP World. You want to do it on your blog? Fine. It's your blog. I won't read anything because it gives me a headache, but fine. Don't do it on a world where there are a lot of people a part of it and have to read that.

I feel you so hard.. though some times when I text I'm to lazy hahah
