my friends want me to leave him before i'm emotionally damaged and scarred. But i think i can take it. And if i can't it'll be worth it to be with him for as long as i can.

yes and no. I want to get married and have kids. And if he doesn't want that or can't, i need to move on.
His depression makes him want to be alone all the time. And he's pushed me away and shut me out more often than not. But, he tells me i'm the only one he wants to see regularly. Which is once maybe twice a week.
I'm good for him, but whether i admit it orr not, he's not always good for me.

It sounds like you guys just need to be together. Depression can bring someone down in relationship but if you truly love someone and you cant be apart then taking slow is ok. I think you guys will be just fine and even if he doesnt use the term boyfriend and girlfriend or if its not ever official... i still think you two would be ok. Maybe the labels will be too much for him and he is scared... but it sounds like you guys are together and that is all that matters in the end right.

he cares about and loves me so much i'm scared we'll never be together because he knows that with his depression he's not the easiest person to be around. He knows he hurts me almost as much as he doesn't. He knows i could find someone who treats me well. He broke up with me to give me that opportunity. But i keep coming back because i love him so much.

Oh, I am well aware not all guys are douches. My ex wouldn't cheat on me. He'd never purposefully hurt me. But, I don't want to be seeing him for 2 years without us every moving forward or being something together. So, I'm still looking to meet others but not at the same time if that makes sense.

thats how my ex was we dated for 7 months and then just saw eachother for 2 years... didnt work out for me he apparently was sleeping with everyone and got a girl pregnant. I was like... ya no good bye after that lol but if its going good for you then i wish you the best of luck ^^ just keep in mind not all guys are douche bags (i tell myself everyday lol)

I havent read many of them but sounds like i need to catch up. I know what it feels like believe me. I have an awkward situation with my bf now lol... see i was friends with is ex in highschool and she cheated on him with a guy. Well i couldnt date him because i was friends with is ex. So i was with a guy (ill call him m) for three years and turns out it was the guy my friend cheated on my currant boyfriend with ... long story short noone mentions m's name around my boyfriend ha ha ha

Me, too. We were going to try to get together last night again, but (I'm not sure how much of my posts you've read, so I'm not sure how much of his and I's situation you know) his roommate, the one who really really likes me, can't know that I'm there. And he was up late last night, and Joe and I ended up falling asleep before I could come over there.
