I don't trust anyone with my life, just the way it is. I think friends should have their own spaces but there are appropriate times for 2 to share a living space. Not as a matter of friends, but a matter of person to person.
I don't trust any of my friends when it comes to room and board. Crazy as I am, I might get one who might stab me in my sleep But what are the odds? I'm sure that at least one point in everyone's life they will find themselves in a similar situations, so what am I to say that in a few years I may have the same problems?
I just stopped when I finally realized that the weird dents in my pencils were teeth marks. Or when my friend accidentally stabbed me in the nose with a pencil.
I know tensions run higher with room with friends. But I would think that as friends-as good as friends as we are- we'd be able to talk things out when something is wrong. But that just isn't happening. I try to do it, but she won't do it. It can't be a one way street. Goes both ways.
I chewed on pencils, too! I actually got a huge lecture about it in the second grade by a teacher... >.>
Seems like most of this is reason to be irritated, and emotions flaring is never a good thing...But one thing I know about living with many people is that when you're living with friends, you are introduced to a sequence of struggles that bring out the worst in you. Matter of fact I was at a camp last year and they even detailed the same thing, and we all went through those phases in 5 days...So what I am trying to say is;
Although your friend is doing some unfair stuff, know that you are offered a boundary and if you have a grievance, draw the line. Like you said, technically (yet illegally) it is half-yours half-hers.
I don't think I ever ate anything strange...Although there was this one time someone tried to get everyone to drink rainwater that was accumulated on the ground; thank God I didn't.
But I did chew on pencils a lot.

Can't say that's not true. All I can say from experience is that I'm not one.

@Kazamas-Keyblade:
It does depend from person to person who is compatible to live together and who isn't.

That's a weird relationship with your friends if you don't trust them...
I just had to train myself to stop. It was hard!

I ate dirt and dog food. Probably the only weird ones I remember.
