I have almost the exact opposite problem as you; I'm the only girl in my circle who HAS a boyfriend.
I got to set stuff on fire in my Chemistry class yesterday and today... and I'm taking an AP English and AP Statistics class. And neither class looks as hard as I was scared they were going to be.
That sucks that your legs have been in a constant state of pain... I know how bad it can get. Some days I wake up and take five steps out of bed and feel shooting pain in one or both legs, and most days I wake up and can walk around without too much pain. But the whole "standing for 7 hours straight" thing certainly exacerbates it. You might want to think about investing in some compression braces for your knees. They really work for my bursitis, so maybe they could help you.

@elricbrothersfan:
you're still in high school, though! Your friends have an excuse. I'm at that age where it's getting weird not to be with someone.
Sounds like this semester should be good for you then! And fun if you get to set things on fire! Hell ya!
If my knees don't start getting better, I will have to start wearing braces. But I'm hoping they'll just get used to it after awhile and stop hurting.
