that tends to happen to anime that is going on at the same time as the manga. Sometimes they end the show leaving so much undone. That's why I tend to watch and read. I learned that lesson while watching Great Teacher Onizuka. The book is so amazing. The show ended in a WTF moment. Such a huge disappointment.
ME TOO!! What was great about the anime too was that they were able to put so much development in so little time, and it didn't even seemed to have been rushed!! I just really hate anime that suddenly rush all the remaining plot in a few episodes before it ends..
For me, it was one of the best anime-originated shows i've ever seen. There just this atmosphere in the show that pulls you in as if you've also become a part of them... And this atmosphere grows due to the great development each character had until the last episode of the story...It really was awesome..
Ikr. I watched the entire thing and I couldn't believe how at the very end I was even teary eyed. And to top that off, every time I hear 'Secret Base', I get the same reaction. Damn this show for making me all emotional. But it couldn't be help cuz it just was that good.
