Yep. I've completely reset PS now and it works again. Had to re-do a lot of custom adjustments though.

Probably restoring the default setting could work - or reinstalling it, as a last result.
You must have accidentally hit a setting or something...Brush settings, maybe? Or have you tried using other brushes and still get the same result?
