I'm So Old... Or Am I? :p
First off, thank you all very kindly for the wonderful birthday wishes I got over the weekend. It was greatly appreciated. You otaku's are a fantastic bunch and I really enjoy being a member here. =3
I find this year rather ironic since the one thing I've noticed as I get older is that I never really feel that old. And yet I look back and have both sad and fantastic memories that tell me otherwise. I can recall thinking it would be terrible to be 40 and yet now that I'm here, I can't imagine losing the precious memories that I have.
And speaking of memories... I got an MP3 player (16GB) for my b-day. I've always had either tape ones or then after that the cd types. Not that I had anything against going digital, I just couldn't see getting one while my other stuff worked just fine.
Now that I have it (and I'm slowly transferring mah music to it) I am reminded of the 8-tracks that my grandparents had when I was a little kid. Linked for anyone who might not know what I'm talking about. >>
Man, I just love memories like that. Being able to look back and see where it was and then compare it to where it is now.... <3 Makes me happy really. I love seeing things improve and change. Sure some change isn't all that hot, but a lot of it is pretty damn cool.
Anyway... trip down memory lane complete! Later all. XD
Change Is Good For You
I've been in a Kratos mood lately. Not sure why since I haven't played ToS or watched any of the OVA's recently. Buuuut since I came across a nice scan at animepaper...
I had to first, snag it to make a new avi... and that lead to logging in to snag the full download so I could make a new banner and theme for this world. Which in turn lead to the new wallpaper I just put up...
Yeah... Funny how those 'moods' can take you on an entire streak of changing things about. So now I has Kratos avi, Kratos theme here and Kratos wallpaper on my computer... >_>
ANYWAY
In other news I've become kind of addicted to playing D&D with Kei and company. It makes me wish more of you were in on it. The whole thing has been wicked fun so far. :3
Oh and one of these days I'm so stealing Trip and Selene. Good Lord the pair together (in D&D of course) is a super cuteness overload. Seriously.

Title aside, since I doubt she'd really be embarrassed, today is Mariskah's Birthday. For some reason she never listed it on her portfolio so I'm letting you all know about it. :p So if you have a moment be sure to head on over and wish her a Happy Birthday. I know I plan on doing so in person. Anyway...

CareBear Monsters
That's right. Of all things this post will be about CareBear Monsters. ._. I was talking to Mariskah the other day, and she told me how she had a wacky dream where CareBears had sharp fangs and claws, and were attacking people.
My reaction to that? I couldn't help it, I laughed. XD And now I'm posting about it cause it amuses me how our minds can apparently produce a nightmare out of anything we read, see, encounter, etc.
She also told me about some other weird nightmares but the CareBears Monsters stood out the most. Oh gosh... just thinking about it is enough to make me start laughing again. XD
You know I love you Mariskah. =D
