Well I can give you an idea since I used to be a member of the LDS religion so I've been in a number of temples. I looked up the square footage for them. The one in the photo, the Lubbock Texas Temple, is approximately 16,498 square feet. Here's a list of others I've actually been inside of:
Provo Utah Temple 128,325 square feet
St. George Utah Temple 110,000 square feet
Salt Lake Temple 253,000 square feet
So as you can see the one in Lubbock is literally about less than a fifth of the size of the others. Though that kind of makes it rather cute actually. XD
Yeah. I did live in Utah for a very long time so I've seen a lot of the temples there including the one in SLC which is quite a bit bigger. I totally did a double take when I was looking at that building and realized what it actually was. It honestly did not occur to me that it was a temple on account of being that small. I had to be up close and in the parking lot for it to click. XD
That's tiny to you?? ...I guess it would be. I've seen another Mormom Temple in the Virginia-D.C. area, and it's rather ginormous...A little creepy if you ask me.
It's about an hour and a half away. Otherwise I'd go there more often. So for now it will just have to be one of those things you do for a treat every now and then.
Lawl, no. But it's certainly quite a bit bigger than that tiny thing in my picture. Since I used to be a member and have actually been in a number of the Mormon temples, I know just how roomy some of them are inside. This little thing, according to my friend, is all on one level too.

If that temple is considered small, then I can't imagine how big the larger ones are!

Yay Chinese. Maybe it can become your go-to for Chinese food. :O Depending on how far away Lubbock is anyway.

I'm guessing that the SLC Mormon Temple is bigger than the structure at Mecca, then.
