I know one thing, you have some beautiful scenery. ^_^ I don't know how I would handle not having any mountains around. I went to the Western part of the State several months ago where there wasn't as many mountains, but there were a lot of hills to make up for it. Even that made me feel uneasy.
I'm glad you're liking your new home. ^_^ Maybe the local library will pick them up sometime soon.
Oh I am in the area experiencing the drought. It's kind of a nice change though since Utah was having one of the wettest seasons on record. So I went from lots of rain to none which was nice. I was sick of the rain! lol

Well this is west Texas which is more on the dry side than east. I'm not sure how often it gets rain but nothing like other parts of the state, or so I've been told.
As for the lack of fence, pretty normal around here. People are pretty open and friendly too which is a nice change.
That looks nice! Seems you're getting some fair weather there! LUKCY! We've been getting rain non-stop for the past week almost... Please tell me you're not in that part of TX where they're in that serious drought! We ought to send you guys some of our rain water...
It kinda looks withered, how often does it rain in Texas? You gotta try the cowgirl outfit btw, and feel incredibly sexy while doing so <3
It's awesome how you have no fence, people must be trustworthy over there.
:o Thanks! I'll go do that right now. I have all of them but the last two and the side stories. I was a bit sad to realize that the library here doesn't even carry it.
Texas a nice place to live? *checks your forehead*
Oh I know. lol But at least the unemployment rate is a lot lower here so finding work hasn't been a problem. I prefer the mountains but I also prefer having a job too.
Anyway, my sister had the same feelings when she moved from North Carolina to Nebraska. :P
I guess you could say it's growing on me. Though having one of my best friends here and friendly people helps a lot.
And how can a place be civilized when their library doesn't carry The Dresden Files? >>;
inorite? I own most of them but I had wanted to read the most recent two since I don't have them yet. But alas, I am out of luck. I'll have to save up and perhaps get the two later to add to my collection of books. You can never have too much Dresden! XD

I'm totally sick of it. The mosquitoes are getting out of hand and my yard looks like a swamp from Florida...

You mean it doesn't come out from the mountain? I thought the sun rests in the mountains... :(
Hahahaha...
I bet with a good enough telescope, you can see the people in town from that spot... If only those trees weren't in the way.

:O It is flat!
We also have mountains here. You can't really see that far off into the horizon.
