Maybe make requirements for guest posting, rather than just handing them out all willy-nilly. I dunno what those would be, but I'm sure it's something that could be managed. Maybe people without guest posting can submit their contributions to guest posters for review, and then they can post them, with credit.
I definitely had that in mind since I want it to be fun but still have some level of control so what gets put up is relevant to the world.
I was gonna also ask what you all thought would be good requirements for someone to have posting privileges. One of the main ones I think of is someone with at least decent English and Grammar abilities. I don't expect perfection but I certainly don't want net speak, if you know what I mean. ^^

Yes. I'm leaning towards having so many people on board with guest posting privileges who people can submit stuff to in order to be reviews and then posted with credit given to the person who submitted it.

I was planning on creating it and leaving it open to everyone to view it so even non-members would be able to view what is posted.
Would there be any sort of publicity so that people who may not be subscribed to whoever technically had the world could see it?
Since this is completely member generated and unrelated to any of my moderation duties here at the site, all publicity would be on the part of those participating.
What would this World focus on? Manga and anime? Japanese culture in general? Or would it be news/reviews/articles about anything?
Since the site includes more than just anime and manga, I was thinking this could be equally as open. People could do stuff on their favorite tv shows or even music artists.
Guest posting privileges are invitation-only, so it'd really be up to Beth's discretion who gets to post what. Also, I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong) that guest posts can be modified and/or deleted by the World's creator. Other than that, I doubt there's much of a way to regulate it, but this at least should be enough for some level of quality control.
Anyway, I'd definitely be up to participate on this one. Expect a dabbling of tomfoolery, but it would be more focused and effort-laden than my usual offerings, at least.
