I've seen you in the chat under two different names. The main difference is you don't do it just to tick people off. Plus others know it's you. So you're fine.
The person I froze was using one account to be a jackass and then they'd come back in later with the other and would pretend to be someone else who was supposed to meet the person who had been a jerk.
They'd been getting away with it for months so they got a bit too cocky and let it slip, in my presence no less, what they had just done. And they were acting like the person they were a jerk too was overacting.
So it was nothing more than a trolling tactic to stir people up. Net result, they lost their privileges here at theO, all of them.
So unless you plan on something like that, you have nothing to worry about. Seriously. :p
Ah, I was wondering when that was going to happen. The rules being updated. Some people make it necessary since they get all bent out of shape when you tell them to behave.
YOU ARE SO GUILTY OF BATING! Ja[d]e!!!!! xDDDD

Anyway, i didn't know people were using multiple accounts to troll. Can i ask something though? If you have two accounts in the chat box at once and really aren't bugging people is that against the rules? O_o
Oh good. I really hate it when people get all smart with you and act like you're being unfair all because it's not directly in the site terms. ._. So immature really.
As others have said, it's not that hard to be nice about it. I mean the argument I got the other day was that one couldn't truly express themselves without swearing.....
lolwut?!?
As rude as this will sound, I think people who believe that need to expand their vocabulary instead of falling back on cuss words. *sigh*
Anyway, thank you for updating the terms. It's appreciated. ^_^
Anyway, now I'll just point people to that and say, suck it up and behave. =P
Well that was the point. lol To not only be clear on the issue, but to give all chat moderators a spot to point to and say "behave or I'll kick your butt out."
Kinda sad that people don't have the sense to just stop swearing if someone asks. It's a pretty straightforward idea, even if it isn't in the rules. If someone doesn't want to hear it, you shouldn't subject them to it. Seems pretty cut and dried to me.
I agree, rules or not, it's just common courtesy really. It's not as if not swearing is the end of the world after all. Especially when people can use private chat and create rooms for privacy. So that makes it even more moot cause you can still do what you want without bugging anyone.
That said, I'm probably not the only one who appreciates you taking the time to do this kind of thing. I wish it weren't necessary, but I'm grateful you're willing to get it done since it has become necessary.
You're welcome. I wish it wasn't necessary either. At least editing the post to include it was rather straightforward. So making the necessary update was easy enough.

I understand Sabrina was dealing with a member like that just the other day. It's a shame that you have to add that to the rules, but at the same time, I can see how it's necessary.
I've had that argument tossed in my face and outright kicked someone out of the chat for being a jackass over it.
Plus I agree with Ace, if someone doesn't want it, you just don't do it. It's not that hard to use private chat or use another room so there's no excuse really.
Anyway, now I'll just point people to that and say, suck it up and behave. =P

I'd say silly kids except I'm sure you deal with adults who are just as immature if not more so.

It's good to hear that you always step up for the rest of the community as the admin and go to the front lines for these types of people.
Some people listen when they make some slip-ups, some people don't - thinking you're a jerk.
Is it that hard for some to have a bit of courtesy? At least a little? *sigh*
