I'll be careful, thank you for the concern ^_^ I know how underage people want to get drunk and pass out because they think it's "cool" but that isn't really my cup of tea Truth is the adults can't really stop them from drinking. I watched a 44-minute film about Internet piracy yesterday and they were saying the same thing: the ones from the government would have to confiscate each and every pirate's computer in the world in order to stop piracy. And, as we all know, that's not possible.
About the SM vector, I was crazy to get it done as fast as I could so that's why it's so "advanced" XD I wanted to get it off my back sooner! Good as in, smooth and thin? My secret for thin outlines in (some) wallpapers is vectoring at a higher resolution then shrinking it to the standard dimensions of a wallpaper The SM vector is 3000 s something, which would lead to 1920 x 1200 when resized (directly proportional numbers).
To post wallpaper images, add the URL tag and post the image option in place of the text the link is supposed to display. Remember to upload the thumbnail (big one or small one) of the wallpaper as an image.
A lot of people say that you can't make "real" vectors in PS because a vector is supposed to remain high quality no matter how much you mess with its dimensions. To sum up what's said in that video (it was amusing in some parts), take a vectored image (must contain shape layers, raster ones pixelate when enlarged!), open the 'Navigator' window (Window - Navigator; the one with the little preview box, I don't remember the exact name since I don't use it) and set the magnifying option to something like 1000%. Looks pixelated, right? Save the file in EPS format and open it in Illustrator, then do the same thing with the Navigator window. You'll see it isn't blurred, therefore it's a real vector!
Well, I would like to know some things, like how to find my way around the tools - and especially how to vector! For example, I've noticed that every time I create a new path, that path is a "sublayer". How can I have only one layer with a path? Moreover, why is the canvas so large? I don't need such a large canvas and I think it's nothing good for the virtual memory -_-" (Note to self: NEVER open PS and Illustrator at the same time!) *feels like a total newb* ;_;
Lol my comment is going to be longer than my post itself XD
Ah, you have to be 21 to drink here...and I gotta say, there's A LOT of people that drink underage...and it's like all the adults know it, but they don't want to do anything to stop them either. Just be careful, Oli-chan!!
Ooh, that sounds like a wonderful idea. :3 I'm still kind of confused about how to...you know, put the wallpaper with a link in posts here on VV! Like how you did it. Argh. Tell me!! But yeah, that waller world idea sounds awesome. ^^
Wow, that's a lot of projects. You weren't kidding when you said you didn't want to another to your list. XD The Sailor Moon vector is crazy!! Like, wow...so many details. How come your outlines are so good???? Jeez, I love it! I can't see that vector vid right now, but I don't get it...how can they say that you can't vector on PS? I use PS7.0, and it works!! Though it sucks. My vectors aren't good. ^^;
You got Illustrator? Coolness!! How lucky. I've been working with it a lot at school...I could TRY to GIVE you a tutorial. XD What would you like to know??
Sorry, I don't know who that girl is on the one wallpaper. She looks familiar though...and it's very good. All of those wallpapers are looking great...I'm kind of lost for ideas on how to improve or what to do for a bg though. :( *is not creative enough*
