Interesting post... Well I'm older so I kind off missed the Harry Potter trend and the Tokio Hotel one.
The only one song that I used to like was Moonsoon (from TH of course), but only that one... Linkin Park is a little too rough for me... Hope I've spelled that right...
People are that way, sometimes. That is one lesson I've learned in this life... Sad, sad.
Still interesting post!
Peace and luff,
Lory.
Oh goodness, don't get me on the topic of kids/teens and things like that! Them and their groups. I'm glad I'm not in early schooling (elementary/middle/high school) in this age. It seems to me like kids are "growing up" faster and faster...and not in a good way. I'm sickened seeing kids that are only 10 or younger walking around in the mall by themselves, wearing short-shorts and tank tops. UGH!!! But I guess that's the trend these days...just bleh...that's why I'm glad I'm not growing up right now! I'm almost afraid to bring a child into this world in the future. O__o
Harry Potter? I definitely don't remember that in elementary school...I think that came out more in middle school [6th-8th grade], but I'm not sure how your schooling system goes. I never read any of the books. XD I refused to become a part of any such group! And Tokio Hotel? I've only just heard of them recently. *laugh* So I can't say the same.
The trends I remember were: Pokemon [started around 4th grade...everyone had the games and cards! I remember teachers would confiscate kids' cards because they'd be trading during class], Harry Potter [later, like I said], yo-yos, Skip-It, Beanie Babies, and...I really don't remember anything else. I know the clothing styles would go in waves. I've been wearing the same things for years though...I tried not to be a part of any "group" like that. ^^;; Although...I did join in the ones I mentioned, except for HP. Oh wait, POG!! Did you have POG? I remember that was really hot waaaaay back when...jeez, I sound old! I'm not that much older than you. XD
This was interesting. I'm glad you posted again! "So soon"! Hah. If I said that each time I posted, well, you know...it'd definitely get annoying. Take care~

I think you're so right!^_^
When I was in - I think you'd call it 3rd grade^o^' - everyone from 2nd to 6th grade seemed to be obsessed with Pokemon trading cards and I was about the only one who wasn't ToT'
But from the start, I've been crazy about HP and I still am:P lolz
