It kind of sucks because, on top of not attending their own classes, they don't even give us the learning material we're supposed to use. One teacher had her book on her memory stick but insisted we go out and buy it because she wasn't allowed to spread it around because of copyright claims from her publishing house. The annual tax was lowered this year, to allow some money for books, but when you actually get to the buying part you end up spending a lot more than the $60-something you were "given back".
Nuuu exams are coming *flails* I miss high school, summer would mean instant holiday ;_; But now I get four months of sweet, sweet vegetating (instead of 3), so I'm not complaining 8D

(That just reduced my daily brain capacity to half XD)
Thank you~ I'll be majoring in only one field, though, I don't think I can attend two master courses at once - they're at night, since it's assumed that by that time you'll have gotten a job during the day, so I'd have to be in two places at once. I was interested in law school at one point, but there are lots of lawyers here and, technically speaking, the competition would be too big. And, with a system like ours...I'd be happy if I didn't have to deal with it too much.
I'm sorry to hear that your professors have lost most of their interest in teaching the courses. I would hate to have that happen and then still be tested on the material. It's just not fair to the students who are paying to attend class.
And wow, can't believe she actually pointed you out of the group. :(
Good luck on all of your projects, too! Hang in there, it's almost summertime!
Omg I hate teachers like that >___> Fortunately, in law school it's easy to know which teachers to pick and whatnot. There are some of them that are just dreadful ;__;
But either way, just kudos to you for being taking two degrees! You have my respect. You already had it but yeah.
On top of that, she's also hypocritical. She always bitches about how we don't know a thing about Spain's history (not true), but I doubt she knows as much info as I do on, say, Egypt or Ancient Greece.
Phonetics are only useful if you want to become a teacher, methinks. They're too in-depth for other careers. And I can relate to you on the projects thing. I have to write an essay for Sociology. The topic? "Whatever you want", in the words of my teacher. From whatever domain I want. I'm picking graphic design, see how THAT works, bitch! *feels proud*
Fortunately, they're awesome and one of them even told her that we'd each worked on our parts of the project. I was too busy looking at her dumbfounded. It was really stupid of her to say that, mostly because we had sent her an e-mail asking what themes she'd advise us to work on (she had told us to e-mail her about this), but she replied so late we thought we were going to remain project-less.
Yeah, college... thank God I got rid of that! I remember having a teacher that after the course would tell us: "I'm not in the mood for the seminar today! So, no seminar! See you next time!".
Of course all of us were like: "WTF?". I hated those moments!
You better get used to that! There are good teachers, even great ones... but the rest! Sometimes I felt like slapping myself really hard in the face for at least half an hour!
You have a Spanish course? Cool! I love foreign languages, especially Spanish! Last time I took a course I had a Spanish teacher, but that was long time ago... I miss those days so much! One of the happiest moments of my life. :)
2 colleges? I remember you mentioning that! I bet the Letters/Human Resources one is your favorite! And what are you majoring in regarding the second one? Just curious! I wanted to ask you for quite some time. XD
I'm planning on going for the second degree also. First I have to figure out my master's degree, but that will be easy. I don't know if I'll have the time to go to college again. But I want to, because this one will be entirely my choice (the first, I had to think about my future and bla bla bla... so it wasn't really a free choice).
I love the project! She is so cute! What anime/cartoon series is she from?
Sorry for the long comment and good luck with those projects! *hug*
You're lucky your teachers lost interest, ours gained it so much it's now over 9000. I swear they're all bitches and dump projects on us as if we didn't have anything else to do in life except those.
I just show them the finger and study Japanese. That's what I freaking came for, Japanese, not lame studies about phonetics which no one gives 2 cents about.
Your teacher was so inappropriate with her statement, but sometimes that's what you get when you work hard, unneeded appreciation. I sure hope your friends understand how awkward your teacher was and won't hold anything against you.
