20th of Nov. 2016: I'm not dead!

I'm doing OK, working and dealing with my mental health as well as I can. I won't be back here, though. I've started creating content for The Sims 3. As for anime, I've left it behind mostly.

If any of my old friends end up reading this - the years together have been great, and I still get nostalgic about them sometimes. Hope life is treating you well!~

8th of Nov. 2015: For anyone wondering what's happened to me

Simply put, I grew distant from TheO. The fine folks here have nothing to do with it, you all are still amazing (and I feel awful for missing so many birthdays >_<). Tagging on Minitokyo took up a lot of my time, and I gradually found myself visiting TheO less and less, until it got to literally months between visits. Hell, I don't even think I can remember my password, thank God Firefox has the option to save them.

I'm also not that interested in anime anymore - I mean, I like the style and still add to my collection of eye candy, but I don't feel the need to keep up with new releases. I've got my gigs of old manga and am pretty much satisfied with that. Art-wise, the same: haven't felt the drive to pick up or finish a work in months, probably as a result of my passion for anime fizzling out. I'm still playing The Sims 3, and have picked up Doom too (love them custom WADs!).

Anyway, if you made it this far, thanks for the visit. Drop me a line on Minitokyo if you feel like it.

TV show chronicles

Sooo, anyone here watch Game of Thrones? I did, about a month ago, and for a week I just couldn't stay still. I am positively giddy at the prospect of a second season, but not so giddy because it's in freakin' April. Seriously, LOOK AT IT *cries* I can't wait for it but I probably won't be able to see it since it'll be close to exam period. Bah, who am I kidding, I'll probably watch the hell out of it anyway XD If you haven't seen it yet, take a look at that kickass intro and music. For me, it was love at first sight. Now to see if I can mooch the books from my best friend <3

And now they also pushed the first Dexter episode from the 25th of September to the 2nd of October. GREAT. If the 6th season isn't as poor as the 5th, I'll be a happy camper.
And I also finished Spaced a while ago, definitely recommended if you like British humor and clever geek pop culture references c: Am considering staring The Office and Black Books.

One big mashup

My life has been hectic these days. I'm supposed to be studying for exams, but by the point I get home I feel drained of all willpower to so do D: Plus, I have to be in an internship type thing, which counts as a school subject (you have to gain some experience by volunteering, internships etc.). Fortunately, I'm helping out in the Letters college (my main one), because I can't possibly afford to have a job, time-wise; I'm attending two colleges and going to classes daily, as is (yes, even the weekends). God help me when exams start.

Aside from college, I've picked up Dexter and I think it's awesome! I don't usually watch TV series because my attention span is kind of short (which is also why I don't watch anime anymore), but Dexter just grew on me and I usually watch two episodes in one sitting because it's so good :D I've finally caught up and season 5 is definitely among the best, but I can't really complain or say I didn't like them, like 90% of the people on the IMDB.com boards bitch: I liked a little bit of everything :)

And to post something fun, don't you think these covers are pure porn? I mean, I used to look at them when I was a kid and think they were weird because Mowgli's face looks like a girl's but his body is obviously that of a guy's! Anyway, let me know what you think (warning: hide your children or underage siblings, if you have any):
