Haha yes! I really like the Lolita’s they make. The cuteness just be too much sometimes! I love the idea; I mean who doesn’t like sweets or characters based after sweets! XD I do have ideas that I never tried out as well. Since I’m on the computer now maybe I’ll give those ideas a spin.
Hmm, I’m not sure if I made charms and character that goes with it. That would be a good idea too. I’ve been really into the pasties and miniature foods for doll houses. I’ve been viewing blogs of them and it’s just simply amazing! I’ve looked up the history of hot cocoa a while ago and it would be neat to base a character of it.
Haha, don’t worry about the edgy thing, I understand. I just want that “wow” factor I guess in my designs and something different and weird. XD When I think of all the things I want to make it really ranges so trying to get an overall style is quite challenging. But I did have something for that aspect. Instead of making one mascot just make five for each aspect of my shop like Lolita, rave, cute, etc.
Aww, thank you so much (huggles back) I’m glad that you like my latest works. I’ve been very fond of the clay lately. :3 I have to do more cakes and sweets in general in the future!
You know I would love to work up to making t-shirts and such. I love custom wear! XD I would like a pink and girly shop too one day. I would totally melt if that would happen!
I was thinking that too, just taking things slow like I have so far. Thank you for all your wonderful insight, marking terms and all! XD
(hugs) Your wonderful you know that! Never change! Thanks again!
Thank you! You have a point there too; maybe I should invest more time fine tuning my chibi style and drawing out some ideas I have in mind. I should also play around with my coloring style.
I glad that I had an identifiable style too. XD That makes me really happy! Once, I start playing around with things I’ll probably find a style that I like and can develop more.
Thanks for the input it was really thought provoking!
Hmm...well, I think all of your stuff is the epitome of cute anyway. XD All of your sweets! But looking at those other artists (I LOVE queen of dorks), it seems like they have a lot of characterized items. Um, as in personified sweets! ^^ Forgive me if I have a bad memory, but have you made any little items that have characters with them? Would you be interested in doing that? I know you're amazing at drawing cute characters, but have you, uh...molded (?) any to go with your other things?
And as for wanting to be a little more edgy, well, I'm not sure. I don't think I'm creative enough to come with a solution to that. XD I love what you've been doing already! *hugs* But keep looking at those other artists for inspiration. <3 Like will you make t-shirts someday? Only stick to clay goodies? For now, I think you need to establish your business. Get your account set up, make some initial sales. Once you set up some brand equity and loyalty (look at me using my marketing terms lol!) with your basic crafts, then you can try to expand into other things. ^^
In my opinion... I think that since "cute" is generally well-accepted, you can continue doing things based on that theme. But instead of doing the dot-eyes and tiny mouth trend that you showed us, add your own touch. Put your essence of your style in there. I haven't seen a style out there quite like yours, so I think it would be easily identifiable as yours. :>

Thanks for the offer but I do have a logo. (needs to be cleaned up and stuff on photoshop XD)
The logo I have I really like but I just need some ideas of the look of my shop. Who know the fun part of starting the business would kill off the most brain cells as well? XD
