Thanks Kelsey that means a lot! It was definitely one of my better birthdays. It was so simple, nice and I wore a pretty awesome outfit too! My chest was kinda out but I enjoy it too, I actually felt like a 24 year old and it was pretty cool. I didn't buy the anime but I looked for it online and started to watch it, it's truly one of my top favorite animes for sure! I'm so happy that I found it. That FYE has the best anime collection you can physically go to in the area, like seriously. They had everything!
No, I didn't get her yet. I'm hoping that this Sunday is the day though. I would be so excited even though I would still have to buy her some veggies and some fleece for the cage. I was really upset that I wouldn't have all the extra things that I wanted to prepare for her arrival, but I'm okay with it now. I know that all that what I have will be more than enough for her and that I'll be able to get everything later when the time is right. I'm so excited though to have her, I can't wait!
Yeah, my dad is a piece of work to say the least. Since that post, come to find out that he is broke as well. He's been hanging around my family in my old neighborhood. Taking my older cousin to school and whatever, which isn't a problem in itself since my cousin got into a recent accident and can't drive. It wasn't cool when he didn't even want to acknowledge my family and being an ass-hole though. The most recent thing is that my mom tried to talk to him about his situation, and try to work things out. But per normal my dad acts like an ass and totally bashes her and his family. Like, I love my dad but fuck him, seriously. I'm tired of his back and forth stuff, you never know what he's REALLY thinking and that's the main issue. You can never have a heart to heart with him and we basically walk on egg shells because of it. You just never know what type of mood he'll be in. Then earlier my dad's van was parked down the street, my sister saw it while going to the store. But later the van was gone, like WTF LOL. My mom asked for the house keys back but he never did, then he does this, that is the stuff I'm talking about.
I'm really starting to feel like he's out the house though. I feel so much more able to do all the things I want to do, and the things I miss doing. Like doing belly dance work outs downstairs and other convenient girly things. It's been so nice. We're all looking for jobs as well and we're (or at least me and my sister) are excited for the things to come. I'm actually looking into going into the ice creamery/baked goods field. Something I never really considered doing till now. Even if I'm not getting paid a whole bunch like my last job I'll like what I do (I LOVE sweets) and that's good enough for me. I'm sure the universe will take me to where I need to go.
Thanks again for your comment Kelsey, I love hearing from you as always! I also love seeing Winnie on Facebook too, I'm glad you two are getting closer and closer. I'll make sure the whole world knows when I get Milkshake haha and my misadventures per normal. It's been pretty intense as of late. Anyway, thanks again and talk to you soon!
*hugs* I'm glad that your birthday went well! Glad you had a fun time, and got that yummy food and anime. :) I didn't know FYE is still around. It used to be at the Exton mall and went out of business a long time ago. I assumed the whole company died. XD; I've never seen Papuwa, but that is sweet you have such memories of it.
Do you have your new guinea pig, Milkshake, yet? I'm not sure if you said that you got her...like...now, or if that was all past tense from last week when you wrote this. XD But I sure hope you got Milkshake. She is in a great home. <3
That is really...just really horrible about your dad. He sounds like a complete jerk. And jerk is way too nice of a word. I know I have issues with my dad here and there, but what you guys have to go through sounds like torture. :( And to say those things in front of your sister? WTF. That is messed up. *hugs* I am glad that he left, but it's terrible HOW that happened. Like how you all had to go through such grief and pain from him...and then he gets like the upper hand or something with leaving that way, never to turn back around. :/ Have you heard from him since? I'm sure you are relieved that he left, but again, he left you all with so much CRAP. Money problems and stress and all the negativity that he has done and said. He gets easy-street, while you have to suffer.
I will hope and pray for you and your family, Amy. *hugs* I really hope that things will get better somehow. Getting your guinea pig and having those Korean classes sound great! *crosses fingers for you* I wish you all the best. :)
