My Adagio.com Review:
"The fruit flavor will vary depending on how many bits of fruit are in your steeper, but the black tea component will always be somewhat stronger in your brew. There's some tanginess, but it's not too much, which is really good. Overall, I really enjoy this tea, especially in the morning."
This is a tea blend from Adagio.com. The user average score for this one is 4.5. There is caffeine in this tea. This is a blend of black tea, blood orange, raspberries, and strawberries.
4 out of 5
My Opinion: I first bought this tea two weeks ago, not knowing that I'd be getting myself more and more involved in the tea world. When I first popped open the plastic covering on the 10 oz. tin case, I was greeted by a fragrance of black tea with a subtle helping of fruit. Compare it with the Fruit Medley and this will lose in potency, but I like this tea blend better because it's not too overpowering.
I must admit that the black tea flavor is really strong in this one, but there's something about the subtlety of fruit flavors that really intrigues me. Back in the day, I was so used to drinking Lipton black tea. I didn't know what to expect in loose black tea with fruits blended in. Boy, I was in for a surprise.
If you're used to drinking black tea like me, you should definitely try this tea. The addition of it being a blend with fruits should be more of a reason to purchase it. If you want to taste the fruits, you really have to feel your way through by your tastebuds to figure it out.
It's like a good reading session. The action and drama is so strong in one specific chapter, but you will appreciate the subtle messages that are being conveyed through metaphor in the chapters surrounding it. Thus enhancing your immersion into the story.
