I think my favorite locations in Kanto would have to be the Power Plant where you can find Zapdos, Lavender Town and by extension the Pokemon Tower, Saffron City for both the gym and the Silph Co. building, Cinnabar Island, and finally Cerulean Cave, a.k.a. the Unknown Dungeon.

Favorite Johto locations of mine meanwhile are Ekruteak City for mainly the Tin Tower/Bell Tower, the Lake of Rage, Blackthorn City for the Dragon's Den (which got a much needed upgrade in Crystal), and the Ruins of Alph.

Yeah, ^^;; that did get old after a while. All in all though, I think I like it jus as much as kanto

Hoenn's okay, though I didn't like that you had to do all that surfing to get around some of the routes later in the game.

I love kanto but I love hoenn for sentimental reasons.

I guess I'm from Kanto since my first game was the original Pokemon Blue Version. I ended up playing that game a number of times before I mastered it. In all honesty though, the Johto Region is my favorite part of the Pokemon world.
