Chapter 7:

I feel myself falling, I hear waves crashing in the distance. I open my eyes to see a bright blue sky. I sit up and look around me. I see a small wooden shack next to a mini waterfall. A dock, and what looks like a cave near by a enormous tree. I stand up see a girl waving towards my direction near-by. She is sitting on a hanging tree that is on a separate island connected by a wooden bridge. “Come on! You're gonna miss the sunset!” She yells towards me. I point to myself and tilt my head. “Yeah! Come on! It's starting!” She says. I quickly start running towards her and when I reach her she hands me another seashell. “Keep it safe OK?”She tells me. My eyes snap open and I am looking at the dull, gray ceiling in my room. I feel my pants- pocket and take out the seashell the girl gave me. I wonder how the seashells from my dreams get put into reality. I decide to not think about it too much and head to the bathroom to freshen up. I knock on the door to Roxas's room. “Come in” He says. I open the door to his room and he sighs. “Hey. What do you want me to do?” He asks. “Nothing yet. Just wanted to say Hi and stuff.” I say and wave hello. “Come on, let's go get breakfast.” I say and head to the cafe. When me and Roxas arrive at the cafe, Xion is already at our table eating her breakfast. We quickly get our breakfast and head over to Xion. I sit down on the right side of Xion, and Roxas sits on the left side of Xion. “Morning~” Xion says happily and takes a bite of her omelet. I quickly finish my breakfast and head over to the Grey Area to see what my mission is for today “You have a mission in Halloween Town.” Saix says and hands me a folder of the information on Halloween Town. I walk into the dark portal and head to Halloween Town. I walk out the dark portal and look around me. I see a bunch of pumpkins with faces on them, purple balloons and a few lanterns. I open the folder that contains the information of Halloween Town. I am supposed to collect hearts and do recon. I defeat a bunch of heartless and do recon. By the time I'm done with my mission I feel all sweaty and tired. “Hey you!” a voice yells at me from behind. “Huh?” I say and turn around. BAM!! a mini bomb explodes near-by me. “Ahahaha!! You fell for it~!” a bunch of kids laugh and kick my leg. I hold in the pain and sigh. “Jerks.” I whisper to myself. I head to Twilight Town and go up to the Station tower. I see Xion sitting alone by herself and she sighs. “Man....I wonder what's taking them so long...” Xion says. “Well I'm here. So you're not alone anymore.” I say and sit next to her. She hands me some ice cream. “Thanks.” I say and accept the ice cream. “ So.. When do you think Axel is coming back?” I ask. “I dunno. I hope he comes back soon. So then, we can have a welcome back party!” Xion says and throws her hands up in the air. “You guys are gonna invite me right?” a voice asks. I turn around and see that it's Roxas with a smirk on his face. “Of course!” Xion says and smiles. Roxas sits down next to me and I hand him a stick of ice cream. 20 minutes later, we head to the cafe for some dinner. “Do you want anything... Kuraxi?” Roxas asks me. “Hmm.... Sure! Can you buy me a pack of potato croquettes?” I ask and point to the 6 pack potato croquette set, which costs 2,000 munny. “Yes, master.” Roxas says in a soft voice and hands the lady the money for the pack of potato croquettes. I laugh a little bit and I smirk towards Roxas. “Hey Xion~! Lets have a croquette party when Axel gets back!” I say and hold up the bag of croquettes. “C- croquettes?! Really?! Alright!!! Yay~! I hope he comes back really soon now!!” Xion cheers and hugs Roxas and me. After Xion heads into her room, Roxas and I head to the Grey Area. “You did that on purpose right?” Roxas asks. “Kinda. But you were happy right?” I say. “Y-yeah..” Roxas says and blushes slightly and scratches his head. “Well, you better like it when we have the welcome back party for Axel, because I'm gonna bring some sea salt ice cream. I'm also gonna pay for ALL of it.” I say and I throw my hands up in the air. “Are you serious?! Awesome!” Roxas cheers and jumps up and down happily. “I worship you, oh great one!” Roxas says and drops to his knees and bows at my feet. “Hey, not here. People might be watching.” I say and turn my back towards Roxas. “Ok.. thanks.” Roxas whispers to my ear and he runs to his room. I head to my room and grab my night clothes. I head to the bathroom to freshen up and I walk back to my room. I write in my journal and wonder about what my dream might be this time. That is, if I have that certain dream again. I walk over to Xion's room and knock on her door. “Who is it~?” Xion asks in a sing-song voice. “It's Kuraxi..” I say in a calm voice. “Come in~” She says. I open the door and see Xion making cards. “Hey Kuraxi~” Xion says and waves hello. “Hi.. Can we have a sleepover today?” I ask and hold up my journal, my gray, king-sized pillow,and my navy blue blanket. “A- a sleepover?! Y-yeah! Hold on! Let me clean up first!” Xion says excitedly. “I'll help.” I say and start to pick up some pink construction paper scraps. “Thank you~” She says and puts the construction paper in a wicker basket. By the time we're done cleaning up, it's already midnight. Xion pulls out a mini bed from under her bed. It's a roll-away bed. “Sorry if you might not like it.” Xion says and sets up the bed. “It's OK. It's fun when I'm around you..” I say and turn my head away from Xion's face. “Wah~! You're so cute~!” Xion squeals and hugs me. “Uh... Um... Y-you're hugging me...again..” I say and tap her shoulder. “S-sorry. You're just so cute~” Xion says. “It's OK.” I say and pat her head. I write in my journal and sit on Xion's guest bed. Xion writes in her journal. “Is it OK if I can read your journal?” I ask and point to her journal which has a navy blue, leather cover. “Sure. There's nothing personal in there anyway.” Xion says in a bored voice and hands me her journal. I start to read her journal. All the way up from Day 1 to Day 7, all the entry's were practically blank. 'Day 8: I... received a mission... with Roxas. He looks very familiar..'. “....There doesn't seem to be many entries.” I say and hand Xion back her journal. “Yeah..” Xion says and grabs my journal and writes in it. I lay my head down on my pillow and fall asleep.

Day 7:Sleepover
I'm having a sleepover with Xion today. I also read her journal, there doesn't seem to be many entries in it though. I wonder when Axel is gonna come back...

I hear the wind blowing in the distance. I can feel it blowing my hair. My eyes are closed. I can hear some one calling my name. I open my eyes and see rocks surrounding me. They have drawings on them. I look at one of them and see that it's a boy with spiky hair and a girl sharing what looks like a star-shaped fruit. Suddenly, my head is pounding. I hear a high screeching sound. “M-My head.... W-what is this feeling?!” I say and a wave of memories rush through me. I see a girl with red hair and a purple outfit appear before me. She smiles and runs away from me. I follow her and see that I'm on the island that I was on before. “If you wanna know what's going on, then head to Twilight Town Mansion. I'll answer all your questions.” a voice says. I look around and a girl with soft blonde hair, deep blue eyes and a pure white dress, walks up to me. “I'll answer all your questions..” She says. “Hey you lazy bum! Where were you when we were working on our raft?” the girl in the purple outfit says and points at me. “Huh?” I ask and look around for the girl in the white dress. “Come on! At least collect some mushrooms!” She says and hands me another sea shell. “Wait! How--” I yell until I suddenly wake up all sweaty. “Who was she?” I ask myself. I check my pants pocket and feel the seashell. I have 3 seashells so far. I take out the seashell and wonder what the seashells are for. I freshen up and put on my coat. I decide to head to Roxas room. I knock on his door. “Yeah?” Roxas asks. “It's me.”I say. “Ugh...Come in..” Roxas says and opens the door. I walk in and see that his face is bright red. He's still in his PJ's. “You look sick.” I say and point at his face. “Ah..Well.. The AC was on last night and the AC vent just so happens to be right above my head.”He says and points to the vent blowing icy cold air right above his bed. “Oh...”I say and wrap Roxas in a blanket. “Thanks.”He says and coughs. “Do you want any medicine? Are you gonna be able to do any missions today?” I ask and feel his forehead. “No, I'll be fine. I probably won't be able to do any missions today. Can you tell Saix that I'm sick? He might not like it, but he'll have to deal with it.” He says. “Actually.....Do you want some elixir I got yesterday from that weird moogle?” I ask and hold up the yellow elixir bottle. “Eh? Are you sure?” He asks and takes the elixir. “Yeah! You're sick at the moment anyway.” I say. “OK...” He says and drinks the elixir. After Roxas drinks the elixir, I notice that his face is beginning to look normal again. “Are you feeling better?” I ask. “..Yeah! I feel like I can do anything now!” Roxas says and jumps out of his bed. “Yay~!” I cheer. “Oh yeah! Before I forget, can I talk to you up at the roof today after dinner?” I ask. “Hm? Yeah, sure.” He says. “OK. Thanks.” I say and wave good-bye. I walk out of his room and run to the cafe to get some breakfast. Luckily, no one has taken any food yet. I calmly get my breakfast, and sit down next to the window. Such peace. I quickly finish my breakfast and head to the Grey Area for my mission. I see Demyx sitting on a couch playing his weird instrument. “Yo~ Kuraxi!” He says and plays a tune. I wave hello and quickly go to Saix for my mission. “You will be pairing with Roxas today. You are to collect hearts at Beasts Castle.” He says and hands me a folder which contains information on Beasts Castle. I nod and head to Beasts Castle. I walk out the dark portal and look around. I see a few gargoyles staring down at me. I look at the huge castle in-front of me. “Man.. This place is big..” I say to myself while staring at the huge castle. “Yo~!” a voice calls out to me. I look around and see Roxas running over to where I am. “This place is huge, huh?” Roxas says. “Yeah.. Does anyone live here?” I ask. “Yeah, I think so. One of the members named Xaldin, he thinks there is a Beast living here.” Roxas explains. “Huh. But.. how did he figure that out?” I ask. “Well... when I came to do a few missions here, I heard some roaring... and when I came to check it out, there was this monster fighting the heartless. He kept yelling 'You don't belong here! Get out! Don't steal my precious rose!'” Roxas said. “Ah....So this rose must be quite valuable to him.” I say. “Yeah.” Roxas says. “Come on, I know a way to get inside.” Roxas says and leads me to a secret door near-by the grand entrance of the castle. He leads me up a few stair cases and then he climbs up a box located near a broken wall and jumps out the broken wall. “W-what?! J-jump?!” I say while looking down to where he is. “Yeah! It's faster, and the main entrance is blocked!” Roxas says. “Don't worry! I'll catch you!” Roxas says and raises his hands in the air. “O-okay...” I say nervously. I look down at Roxas and shudder. I decide to close my eyes and I jump down. CRASH! I hear a thump and I open my eyes. The ground is softer than I thought..Wait.. wheres Roxas? “Ugh..Ouch.. Hey....Hey! When are you gonna get off me?!” Roxas says. I look down and see that I landed on Roxas. “Ah.. Sorry..” I say and stand up and observe the area. “It's OK.” He says and searches the area also. “Do you see any heartless?” I ask. “No.. Let's check a different area.” he says and heads to a door at the top of the staircase. He opens the door and a sudden flow of light leaks out. The place appears to be like a dance hall. “There's probably some heartless here.” he says and looks around. Suddenly a heartless appears behind Roxas! I summon my katanas and rush to the heartless and slash it with one swing. It's gone. “Huh?” Roxas says and looks up in the air. He sees the pink heart and looks around for more heartless. Luckily, we found and defeated 10 heartless. The gauge is almost full. We head out the dance hall and a heartless suddenly appears right in front of us! It was a giant soldier! “This must be the last one!” Roxas says and summons his keyblade. Suddenly, a bunch of Bad Dogs surround us and the Giant Soldier! “No... Alright then! Roxas, You'll take out the soldier! I'll take care of the dogs!” I command. Roxas nods and he runs up to the soldier and slashes it repeatedly. I create a tornado using my katanas and the tornado sweeps up all the dogs. I jump in the tornado and literally stop time. This caused the dogs to stop and make a circle around me. My katanas become longer and I sweep my katanas to slash all the dogs at once. Time starts again and a bunch of hearts from the dogs float up all around me. Roxas finally finishes defeating the giant soldier. “What... what happened?” Roxas asks. “Huh? What do you mean?” I ask. “Well.. When I was fighting the soldier, all I remember was you creating a tornado and suddenly a bunch of hearts get released up to Kingdom Hearts... What happened between you making the tornado and then the hearts getting released?” He said. “Huh? Well... I kinda stopped time..” I said and looked away from Roxas and scratched the back of my neck. “Really?! Are you serious?!” Roxas asked excitedly. “Y-yeah... I don't know how I did it though..” I said and looked at my right hand. “Maybe it's a hidden power!” Roxas says excitedly. “...Maybe..” I say in a whisper while still looking at my hand. Me and Roxas head over to Twilight Town and arrive in front of the station tower. We head up the station tower and I see that Xion is sitting at the edge of the tower. Xion sighs. “Hey. You OK?” I ask and me and Roxas sit down and take out some ice cream sticks. “..Yeah..Hey Kuraxi? Can we have a sleepover again today? I wanna talk to you about something.” Xion asks. “Hm? Ah, sure.” I say. Xion finishes her ice cream and stands up to stretch. “You guys are leaving already?” a voice asks behind us. We all turn around to see who it is. It's Axel. “Yo~” He says and waves. “ A-Axel?!” We all ask in surprise. We all rush up to hug him. “We missed you!” Xion says. “Oh yeah! We have a surprise for you~!” I say and Roxas blindfolds Axel. Me and Xion quickly go to the Grey Area and set up Axel's welcome back party. I warm up the croquettes, buy 3 packs of sea salt ice cream and buy balloons from the moogle. Xion sets up the banner. When we're finished we head back to the station tower and nod towards Roxas. “Come this way~” Xion says and leads Axel to the Grey Area. When we all are at the Grey Area, Axel takes off his blindfold. His eye's widen. “Whoa.... F-for me?!” He asks. “Yeah!” Roxas,Xion and I say. 15 minutes in the party, Xion practically stuffs herself with sea salt ice cream and croquettes. “Ugh.. Can't.. eat.. anymore.” Xions says while laying down on the couch. “Same..” I say while sitting on a chair. “I'll go clean up then.” I say and collect the plates and pop the balloons. By the time I'm done cleaning, it's 10:00. Xion and Axel head to their room. “I'll come in a little bit. I just need to do something.” I say to Xion. Xion nods and closes the door to her room. I head to the roof and see Roxas sitting on a bench. “Hey. Some party, huh?” I ask and sit down next to Roxas. “Yeah. So what did you want to talk to me about?” He asks. “Well.. I have been having these weird dreams lately. This girl with short, red hair in a tank-top and violet skirt has been giving me seashells lately. Then, this girl in a white dress told me to go to the mansion in Twilight Town. She said that she will answer any questions I have.” I explained. “Ah... Well I have been having these weird images lately. They show a boy in red. Maybe the dreams are some-how connected?” He asks. “Maybe..” I say and head to Xion's room. “Hi Xion.” I say and wave hello. “Hi..” She says and sits down on her bed. “So, what did you want to talk about?” I ask and sit down next to her. “Well...I think I like Roxas...” She says. Huh? When did she start liking Roxas?! “Ah... S-so when did this start?” I ask. “I... I don't know. But, lately, I seem to notice that I start to blush when I'm around him, and my heart starts to beat faster.” She says. “Oh.. I see.” I say. “..Yeah.. What should I do? What if he doesn't accept my feelings?” She asks and buries her head in her sky-blue pillow. “...I.. I don't know.. I never really experienced love before...” I say. “Ah... Well, I guess I shouldn't let him know that I like him then.” Xion says. I nod and write in my journal. Me and Xion go to sleep.

Day 7: Arrival and Learning
Well, Axel is back. I learned that Xion apparently likes Roxas. I guess that can be a good thing.
