'Gome started it, apparently. She found that Anime Harem template on 4chan, showed hers to Shin and Des which got them making their own, then talked about it in Chat while I was there and I caught the bug pretty bad, considering I've made 4 of the darn things. XP
It was just a fun little challenge, going around to find the right picture for a character and then putting it all together.

I've been seeing those all over. lol I'm in the same boat you are, I don't know enough characters and I don't consider them like that.
It is amusing to see what others put. Allamorph's made me laugh the most though.
