Yes its new. Its in beta so its not the officially complete. The creators have it open to the public for feedback and are planning to add more features like new drawing games.
PaintBerri seems user friendly to me. The drawing software is very basic but easy to use. It even has an autosave in case you close the window before saving (I've done that)

oh cool! It kind of reminds be of Tegaki-E. You draw everything there too but it's hard to use.
I'll have to check this website out when I'm not so busy with things.
