I am learning Japanese as well! Except I'm taking a class at my school. The teacher is really energetic most of the time and just, uh, different from the other language teachers but he is really cool. I can help you if you'd like. C=
oh... i've learned through this site -- simple japanese.. thats what i searched in google and found that link.. unexpectedly, it provided the basics for me.. i think the only thing u'll need to read is the basic lessons and grammar/expressions.. and then apply what u learned by watching raw anime and try to understand based on their actions.. writing comes after that.. XD im still not good with kanji.. more like i dont want to learn kanji atm.. im quite satisfied with knowing hiragana and katakana already and i think i can survive in japan even though i dont know a lot of kanji.. XD
