Okay well depends where you dig living right? The cheapest home is in the Waterfront in the Imperal City. Its a one room shack and is I think if Memory serves 2,000 gold. The next levels up in eth shack department are in Bravil and Layawiin. I don't remember how much they cost each but its between 4,000 and 6,000. Both one rooms mind you. Anvil's house comes with a quest that involves killing ghosts, tacking down a man, and a really creepy basement. Its really creepy though if you ask me.

Ummmm- the house in Burma is pretty fancy fancy if you really dig the snow. Its got two levels and two beds. Its a pretty penny is you ask me- I want to say 15,000 gold but I could be off. Its in the double digits though. Cheydinhal's house is really really big and really really fancy. Lots of room to keep your stolen pluders there(although not cheap). Skingrad's house is the most expensive coming in at around 25,000 gold. Its three stories and a basement and you even get a servent chick for 150 gold who brings you food and drink. Thats about all she does really.

Now if your cheap, like me. Make a heading for the water front in the Imperial city. You know those funny pirates that sing and yell at you if you step on their boat(there are three of them- one dark elf, a red gaurd and I THINK a high elf)? Jump on their boat- let them attack you and let the guards kill them. You won't get arrested or anything and you get their swords. Than you take their boat. Its small, but it has a chest and a draws for your stuff. Although the chest has a level five lock on it- Very Hard I think it is? Also your stuff will STAY THERE. Sometimes if you leave yoru stuff in a house thats not yours it runs away.

Being a klepto is AMAZING in that game. I stole like every book I could. Literly. I have a whoe llibary in Chorral. But you know you really should get a house for that. So you don't have to carry everything. OR YOU COULD 'BORROW' ONE! *wink wink*

Okay I'm a female Dark Elf, can't remeber birthsign. Currently I'm trying to work on the main quest, I'm at the village where the emperor's son is supposed to be adn I just closed the Oblivion gate. Also I'm klepto in the game. I take whatever the hell I can. =D
