The Host Club's Favorite

Chapter 5 - Chime's Aka-Chan and Saamoki's Talk.

“There you go sweetie,” The middle-aged nurse said as she finished wrapping Saamoki’s arm up in a bandage. “Take these and you’ll feel better in a couple of minutes.” She handed Saamoki two pills that looked like she could use them as ear plugs, and a cup of water.

Saamoki did as the woman said and took the pills handing the cup to Tamaki, watching him throw it away next to him. I wonder why he wanted to bring me. Seramea could have brought me and nothing would have changed, although, he’s pretty cute. It’s nice that he wanted to bring me, and how he carried me. Saamoki started blushing, trying to cover her face with the arm that wasn’t hurt. Ouch these glasses are starting to be a bother. I think I’m going to put my contacts in. “Umm, excuse me; I’m going to go to the bathroom.” She said as she grabbed her bag and headed into the bathroom. (When did her bag wind up there?)

“You have one nice girlfriend there.” The nurse said straightening her appliances staring at Tamaki.

Tamaki was standing casually in the room by the office chair, stuffing his hands in each pocket. He looked toward the nurse and grinned. “Oh, she’s not my-“Tamaki noticed the girl in the bathroom walkway and didn’t move a muscle. His eyes started getting bigger and then ran up to Saamoki. “Did anyone ever tell you that your eyes are amazing?! When did you start wearing contacts?” He asked as he kept glancing at her eyes back and forth examining her.

“Uh, I had to get new ones so I had to wear my glasses for a little while, until they were ready.” Saamoki said as she backed up from the curious blonde. “Well, we better get back to the Host Club. My friends are probably worried sick.” Saamoki started for the door, swinging her bag around her unhurt arm (left arm).

Chime was in her usual seat next to Hunny-Senpai eating cake and drinking tea like always. “Um, Hunny,”

“Yes Chi-Chan?” He asked with a fork in his hand and flowers floating around his cute self.

“Would you do me a favor? Would you hand me my journal in my bag next to you?” She asked smiling and tilting her head to the side.

Hunny nodded and bent down opening her bag digging through her possessions. He suddenly froze when he found the most cutest thing he ever seen, besides Usa-Chan. He picked it up and turned it over revealing its cute face and making him hug it. “Chi-Chan, I didn’t know you carried a stuffed doggy with you in your bag.” He said turning to Chime still hugging it.

Chime smiled and giggled and felt heat float to her cheeks. “Well, yea. Her name is Aka-Chan. She really helps me through my problems a lot.” She said sitting her tea down on the table. “She’s cute isn’t she?”

Hunny nodded and stared into Aka-Chan’s eyes. He looked up at Chime and looked into her eyes as well and then back to Aka-Chan’s. “Did you know that Aka-Chan’s eyes are like Chi-Chan’s? They are both a pretty brown.” He said smiling at her while he placed his fork on his plate.

“Yea, I know I customized her. Well, my grandmother made her; she just asked how I wanted her to look like.” Chime said smiling back at him with a comforting smile.

Hunny looked at Usa-Chan thinking about his Deceased grandmother and how she did the same thing for Usa-Chan. “How sweet. We have practically the same interests.”

A few seconds later, Tamaki and Saamoki busted through the door of the Music room. Saamoki walked through first walking toward all of us and sitting down next to Naomi.

“Oh my goodness, you’re ok!!” I yelled walking toward her giving her a hug in enthused. “I was so worried. Are you alright?” I asked examining her arm making sure she really wasn’t hurt.

“I’m fine. Tamaki took me there in a second. The nurse took out the tea pot shards in my arm and wrapped it up. I’m completely fine.” She said rolling her eyes, holding her hand up to assure us she doesn’t need any help. She stood back up almost falling over again, until Tamaki caught her back and pushed her back up. “Thanks, if you weren’t here-“She started before she had a finger to her lips and looked down.

“No worries my princess, I will always help you when you need it. Do you need any tea, cake, a pencil?” He asked holding up his pencil with a teddy bear eraser cap at the end of it.

Saamoki raised one eyebrow and then sighed sitting back down in her chair and then looking up to Tamaki. “No, I don’t need anything, and why would I need a pencil?” She asked shrugging her shoulders.

Right when she said that Tamaki was over in the corner sulking like he always does.

Saamoki’s face turned into curiousness and looked at Kyouya and raised her unhurt arm and pointed it to Tamaki. “What just happened?”

“Well, Tamaki likes to ‘sulk’ whenever he hears something or does something he doesn’t like. Also right when you say something kind he will shoot back up like nothing ever happened.” He said writing in his black notebook.

Saamoki’s eyebrow rose once more and then she stood up, holding her arm out again trying to keep her balance. Once her balance was fine she walked over to Tamaki and stood over him. “Oh come on, all I said was I didn’t need any help!! You need to solve things without coming to a stupid corner and sulking your problems away. What are you going to solve in life? Nothing if you keep going into this corner. Get a backbone and stop being such a whiny baby!” She said turning back around to a shocked crowd and walked towards me and the others. “I’m ready to leave now.” She said turning towards the door.

Tamaki’s head started lifting up and stared at the door once all of us left. “She’s right.” He whispered getting the Host Clubs attention. “She’s right! After today I, Tamaki Suou, will have a backbone and will not sulk in this corner any longer!” He said standing up and pointing to the ceiling like usual when he talks.

“Yea, I’d like to see that.” Haruhi said as she leaned toward the twins with her hand cupping over the side of her mouth.

“Yea, we would too.” They said as they all chuckled.
