Yes, hard mode has been really fun! I was nervous about trying it but it has gone just fine and I like the extra challenge ^-^ Of course once the Outrealms opened up I was able to train to my heart’s content, which has helped a lot too. I’m on chapter 20 and have collected all of the kids except Yarne, who I’ll probably go and retrieve tomorrow XD
I think this is the first time I’ve played an FE game in hard mode...I usually stick with Normal, but having the opportunity to do training levels makes Hard feel more doable. I really can’t see myself ever trying Lunatic. That has to be crazy, and I don’t even want to think about Lunatic+ ! O_o

Oh! Hard mode? O.O I actually started out that game in Hard mode...I've done it for all the games (which is explains why in Sacred Stones, my first FE game, that majority of my party on my original file was dead...'orz Definitely restarted it). Since my first bit of playthrough I didn't like 'cause I accidentally married Chrom I've come back and played it again.
I must recommended trying to complete at least the first chapter of Lunatic and then return to Hard mode. It's makes hard mode much easier and makes you feel more confident. Of course, lunatic is ridiculous (as even on the first chapter all your hits depending on the unit have close to 50% accuracy while the enemy usually has 100% and double...;m;).
Sometimes hard mode can be a jerk, but sometimes it can just be incredibly exciting knowing that you're pwning the enemies that are probably very strong! >:D
Ah, I know. It gets so frustrating when you have to restart a level over and over again. And yet I still adore the games XD Thankfully I haven’t had to do a lot of restarts in Awakening, but some of the past games have gotten me stuck pretty bad.
I am a little stuck on Path of Radiance at the moment... Just got to the part where you battle the black knight, only I never used Mist as a character so she is somewhat useless, poor thing. Ike just got smashed to death. I'll try again and give him an elixir (or whatever those healing potions are called) and hope for the best. Tis irritating having to go through that entire level again... Boo. Why do I enjoy games that are so frustrating?!

Thanks! Haha, I felt the same way about mine XD When it got acting up really badly I was paranoid that it might just die at any moment, so I was eager to get another one. I guess that’s what happens after you’ve had them for a few years ^^;

Congrats on a new laptop! My current laptop has been acting a bit funny lately too~ I feel like it not going to last LOL!
Similarly, I've been trying to calibrate my drawings to prints and my screen is always so off xDD
