Thank you! ^///^ Most of the costume pieces I just bought and did slight modifications to, but I did (badly XD) sew the gauntlets to slip on over top of some black gloves I had. I also repainted the sword, which was a generic knight sword that was red and black originally. That part definitely took the longest! I really like how it turned out though ^^

That's kind of what I was thinking; I'd also thought about just buying some pleather at the craft store and using that for the flaps, given that the Tactician's boots have those upward funnel-ish ones near their knees. Those are some odd boots, to be sure! XD

Thanks! The boots are actually hippie boot covers that I bought last year at the Halloween store where I work XD >These ones<, to be exact. I cut off the beaded fringes and they ended up working great for a Link costume! I wore them over tall black boots that I already had. That probably doesn't help you too much for the Tactician boots...maybe you can find some boots or boot covers that are close to what you are looking for and modify them?

Ooh, nicely done! :D Just out of curiosity, what did you do for the boots? I've been struggling a bit over here trying to figure out how exactly to do the Tactician's boots for FE:A, so if you've got any tips for costume fantasy boots, I'd be happy to read them.

The party was fun! I am much too old to go out collecting candy, haha, but there were plenty of sweet things to eat at the party, and my mother-in-law spoiled us and sent us home with lots of candy XD

Ha, I doubt I could ever convince my husband to dress up as Sheik XD I thought he should be Ganondorf, but he didn't think he could pull it off (it would be a pretty tough costume!) He went with something creepy, as usual XD
