Yeah, those are some good points... those are pretty humorous XD And most of the songs are the same melodies used with different lyrics (I mean, they're great melodies, and I love them, but they certainly are used a LOT ._.). You're right, it's fantastic, and there are serious moments, but there are still others that are like, "What?" XD But yeah, even within the story, there's comedy. I know when my brother CitrusStorm and I went to see a university-performed version of the musical, there was a fair amount of comedy... and while that might have been just their interpretation, I would guess that some still holds true with the other versions. even some moments with Carlotta that I'm not sure were supposed to be funny elicited laughs from the audience XD
Whoa, I just realized that I'm commenting on a post from 2008! O_o Well, I've only recently been introduced to the story of Phantom, so... I guess it's okay? XD Still a good musical, though.
