Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for the reminder. Yeah, I understand what you are saying. Luckily, my mom and I worked it out a bit. Since she doesn't like to see them, she just asked me to put them somewhere so she doesn't see them and it would be okay in September, cuz I will be leaving for school and I will bring them with me. So I guess everything worked out.
Also it's just a type of thing that is hard to avoid when raising an animal that feeds on other...oh well. I also told her that I will be giving prayer before I feed them to our chickens. But I don't think it is anytime soon, cuz I don't have a sufficient amount of them to feed to the chickens yet.
But I appreciate the time that you took to comment on this. Also I'm glad that you were able to work something out with your family :)
See you around.
Anyway, this is quite the moral dilemma. In the end, if she doesn't want you doing something she strongly believes is immoral, the best thing you can do is find a better place to do it.
Currently, my family doesn't allow me to perform the "witchcraft" that is a Trading Card Game in their house. So I found somewhere else to do it.
I'm not telling you that something devastating will happen in your family and that you should run away from them. On the contrary, stay in contact with them while they're still with you. However, I dare to remind you that your household's peace is more important than the peace of a few strange animals. If push comes to shove, find somewhere else to keep them, and take care of them there.
