No worries I'm just happy to receive a comment from you ^^
Thanks for your support! I know, sometime going with the flow all the time isn't good, there is a limit and by doing things this way you just gotta learn when to interrupt that flow ^^ I'm glad that I didn't went and my prof finally emailed me back that night saying that it was alright ^^
This week is gonna be less stressful because it would be a normal week...no strike ^^
Thanks for visiting my world Jen and thanks again for your kind words and warm support! :)
Sorry for my late comment, Panda!! I kept your post up on my Chrome page since I wasn't able to comment earlier. Finally getting back on my laptop to do so!
Ugh how right you are about spring break LOL! And getting back into the school work routine afterwards is a pain. Especially when you dont have interest in it! Man when I get in those situations, I just shut down so I can relate! Oh hoho an energy vampire, I know those. You and I sound similar tho... Just doing our best with the challenge that comes up without putting up a fuss complaining. Thats a very good attitude to have in life, Panda :) But definitely, take a stand too! Just like how you emailed your professor, don't let things bother you or get into your comfort level! Its good and all when you can deal with what life throws at you, but also know when you can throw stuff back xD
Good luck, my friend!!
Oh, wow, what a mess! (No, it doesn't seem fair for the students to have to pay for a teacher's aide and not get enough help!) Yeah, good idea to stay clear of the craziness until it dies down.
Thanks I hope so too :)
The strike is a stand for our quality of education in the UC system. The issues of bigger classes and the unfairness for the paid TA(Teacher Assistance)are a part of it too. Not only are they overworked, they are underpaid.
Lately, classes have been more crowded/packed and so Professors have to get TAs for their classes. It seems that the TAs are doing everything for the Prof like grading and helping students while the Prof are busy with their own projects. So it's not really fair for us as students to pay them when they are not teaching or helping us. Students are not getting the needed attention and help from our professors. We are pretty much being ripped off also the TAs.
The traffic has been crazy because the entrance are blocked by the strike. From what I heard about 22 students were arrested.
I hope the UC receive the message and solve this issue in our education system. Luckily, everything would be back to normal next week.

Oh, wow, that's a lot on your plate -- not just the classes themselves, but there's a strike? What's going on?? @.@ Anyway, I hope the classes get easier as you get into the swing of things.
