Hahaha yeah Japanese sweets rock!
^-^ Although my favorite Japanese food is still a niku donburi (Beef rice bowl)
Soooooo tasty!
I believe you're in the US, have you looked to see if there's a Ranch 99 nearby? Its an Asian supermarket and they have lots of awesome goodies! Not as much as Japan town, but lots of really good harder to find asian snacks, deserts, and other goods.
They also have tons of things like exotically flavored instant ramen noodles!
Feel free to pm me if you want more info on that!
I go there fairly often as theres one not too far away!
haha...oh...i see :)
Yeah I think that there is actually a place that sells American comic and manga nearby my house. At least a 15 min drive but I have yet to visit that place -_-
hopefully soon?...
this is just something random that I want to rant -.- :
Another thing that I want in my town is an Asian Bakery place that sells Asian desserts! It'd be so cool. I would totally go to that place every day ^^
But too bad there is none, just cupcake bakeries -__-
To stop my craving, my sis and I would bake the desserts ourselves, but it's not the same as the the ones that we would buy at China town or Japan town >>
By close I mean a 1 hour train ride and a 30 minute walk. lol
I have a pretty odd personal definition of "close."
Yeah unfortunately manga specialty stores rarely last long. I am also lucky to have an amazing comic book store about 10 min (by car) away that has a great selection of American comics and manga. >.>
I am soooo spoiled! lol
And yes this movie is just... Wow!
I swear I could smell the rain while I was watching it...
I had to watch it twice because the first time I was too distracted by eye candy to pay attention...
whoa, thanks for the recommendation ^^
I will check it out soon, the plot sounds interesting and very different.
WAH!! You are so lucky to have a place with Japanese imports near you :D
I'd probably have to drive at least 2 hours to get to a place like that. My town is just not interested in anime, I guess. A few years ago, one was opened for just Japanese stuff like manga and plushies(But choices were still pretty limited) but it closed down within 2 or 3 weeks. *Sighes....too bad.
Anyway thanks again for sharing. The animation does look gorgeous ^^
