Heh, usually math is a hard problem to many. But if others are good, then that's what's important as well. You parents should force you too much. My did, and later I have marks of that... Maybe you will have better marks, but it is not worth some things.
Though if you feel that you still can get better, then push it to the end.^^
That's true. But speaking about that, I think it means on the things that you can do now and what worry you now. For example, school. Getting better marks will help you in your future and similar.
It is early for you to think about this, because things change over the years. It is good that you still consider that, but don't worry about it yet. Life will look better for you when you come to that age. :)
Yeah, I'd like to go anywhere to ski. I'm just in love with the sport. I have to think about it, even if I am young. Because I know someone who puts her favorite activites (and ideals of how everything should be) before her children, and I can see how it affects them. I've known them since they were born and it makes me sad to see. I can't be like that. I have to work this out--how I can have the experiences I want to have traveling, how to do it on the income I may make, and if it will be possible for my to physically and financially support a family. I know I'll have to make some sacrifices if I decide that I do want children. And if I get married, there will be my husband's wants and needs to consider as well. And my own health, like my asthma, allergies, and other things.
I know, I know, it's too early for me to be thinking about this.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
You are still young to think about all that, especially kids. There will be time for that. For now, just try to follow your dream and everything else will come to it. It doesn't meant that you won't have time with your kids or family. You will, I am sure of it.
Haha, so you would like to go and ski there? That's awesome, but you could also make some steps and come to us here in Bosnia. We have good tourist ski places. :)
Hm, about Everest... That would be tricky, they don't let anyone climb it these days. It is dangerous, especially if you want to do it the whole way. Maybe one day, but you never know. At least you will be able to visit it.^^
Yeah, I definitely want to go to Japan sometime. That is motivation to learn the language, I'd say. I want to go to so many places. Maybe I'll look for a job that takes me around the world...trouble is, I also want kids in the future and I'm not sure how that would affect them. I know that once I do have them, they will have to be my first priority and everything else comes second. I really do want to go to Mexico, though, to explore the Mayan ruins, and I want to go to Switzerland to ski.
I also want to go to Mt. Everest but they'd never let me climb it. (I have asthma, so the odds, which are already against climbers on Everest, would be against me all the way). I did a lot of research about climbing Everest. I doubt they'd let me do it. I really, really want to, though. Not now, I mean. I'm only fifteen, and climbing Everest damages brain cells. Since my brain is still developing, it would be a very bad idea for me to try climbing it now. But when I'm older, maybe.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Yup, there are different versions of the same language. Not much of a difference, but can be actually mostly in terms of grammar and even accent. That's a good example that you said, British and American English. While I learn British one, from the influence of American I know about that one too, though there is not much of a difference between it.
One of the examples is my main language and the other ones. Along side my, there are two more that almost sound identical, but actually are different in some ways. And then there are languages that are like half the same as my, the other half is different. xD
Hm, well Japanese is actually pron to the way it is spoken and accent can by quite tricky, though not too much. Like you said what your teachers said, the same goes for Japanese, because there are some words that can mean differently depending on the way you speak them and in which situation. Another problem is the grammar and counting and most, Kanji in Japanese. I have learned Katakana and some of the Kanji. Though there is still Hiragana. Those all three are part of Japanese symbols.
Well even so, I think that you could learn it with a little motivation. Learn those languages that motivates you the most. For example, where you would like to go the most.^^
What interests me is the fact that there are different dialects of languages. You know how, for example, American and British and Australian English all sound different? I mean, they have different accents and certain words are different as well. In America and Britain, I know, there are differences in accent in the various parts of the country.
Well, apparently it is the same with other languages. I know for a fact that in Spain they use terms and words that certain other Spanish-speaking countries don't use. And I've been told that, in the parts of Canada where French is commonly spoken, their French is very, very different from the French that is spoken in France.
I want to know this and hear it for myself. I want to learn all these languages and go places. I know that Japanese is difficult to learn, but I've been told that Japanese words have no specific accent inflection, which should make it easier. Two of my teachers have gone to China, Vietnam, and Thailand, and they told us about their "language mishaps" that occurred because in those languages, the same words can mean very different things, depending on what syllable is emphasized and how you say the word.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Hm, that's good. But if I want that I give you advice, and that is that if you want that start learning a language, focus on that one, or two at the same time. But I see that you know some of these languages just by reading and stuff and not intentionally to learn.
But if you ever want to, then do it. For example if you know Spanish now well, then you can master it more while learning some other one, like Italian.
Well, the thing about these languages is that the younger you are, it is easier for you to learn them. That's how I learned much of English and German, while always watching stuff in them and then actually learning. I was a total fail in English when I was young, but then later I got better and better. I heard that English is one of the hardest languages as well. Don't know why though, it is actually simple. Mostly because everyday you will something on English and you always need it. Grammar can be tricky in some cases, but in other languages it is as well, even harder, so don't know...
The hardest language on the world is Japanese. Yup, it has it's reason.
Traveling world is nice and I am sure that you will do it much later in life. The most important language for that is English, since today more and more people speak it. I don't know what I could without it. But if you want to know some other, then give it a try. I wish you luck and I will definitely help you if you ever would need help in these languages that I know or am currently learning. :)
Cool! I'm trying to learn other languages. I know some Spanish, a few words of French, a few words of Japanese, a little Italian (only because it is so similar to Spanish that on paper I can understand it), a few words of Latin and ancient Greek, a few words of Old and Middle English...that's it. When I say, "A few words of" I don't mean that I am anywhere near fluent in that language, I just have a few phrases I've picked up because I love to read. Spanish is really my best language, it's easy enough to learn. I'm told that English is one of the hardest languages to learn because the rules sometime don't make sense and because it comes from such a wide range of backgrounds. Is this true? Was it difficult for you to learn English?
I'm really interested in language and culture because I'm a traveler and I hope to travel the world someday. I like to go places and see new things...I like to learn in this way, not in a classroom, and I like to give myself new things to think about. The world can be such an amazing place sometimes...a lot of the time...and I want to see more of it.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
My primary language is Bosnian (or Croat or Serbian language, they are all similar). Others one I know are English, German and little Latin and Japanese.

Yeah, they are really on my case about grades. Mostly mine are good, but math is my worst subject and one of the most important ones...
