What would be the next night you had free? Basically, I purchased my mac from the school, so I can go to them and see if they can help me make the thing work on my mac.

Good news! I seem to have managed to make this work on my mac, so I don't have to go to the library. Still setting up and trying to find a username that isn't taken.

You're in the same time zone as me, right? I'm not sure if I will be able to install it on this computer tonight, but if not, Thursday night would be better (I'm never scheduled to work on Thursday nights because I used to have an ongoing commitment then. I don't have it anymore, but I never updated the work schedule because I like knowing I have a guaranteed night free.)

Absolutely! Tonight I'll try and finalize the login process on a library PC. I also tried to download Minecraft to this computer so I could stay in touch with my brother, but that didn't work either. Maybe my school's tech support can help.

Names...choosing names is so hard. I'm gonna go on a baby-name website and look for a pretty one. If I ever met the people who work at Google, I would have to explain to them that I am not constantly pregnant, merely a writer who is very bad at choosing names.

I think that, rather than using this as part of a story, I might use this as a base on which to begin the actual story. Because this kind of gives away a lot right in the beginning...but then, there's also a lot of mystery going on, and I don't know if it'd be best to start it off without the reader knowing anything.
I think, though, I'll make it so that she can use up some of her magical energy to slightly alter her appearance, it just takes a lot of effort. This girl wants pink hair. I just have a thing for pink hair lately.

I gave up :P I didn't know that. I have my mac and they're more resistant to viruses, so it isn't something I worry about very much.
