I know what depression and anxiety is like. It can really get to you. Thanks for the advice. The thing is, though, she lives in America and I live in Australia, so the only way to contact her is through the O.
I can understand how situations like this can be nerve-wracking. My boyfriend has very bad anxiety and depression and sometimes I get nervous when he doesn't answer the phone after he's had a rough day/night.
If your friend struggles with depression/anxiety/self-harm/suicidal thoughts, and you have her phone number, I think it would be ok to send her a text and ask if she's doing ok. If it's not apparent to you/she doesn't struggle with any depression or similar symptoms, it could simply be that she lost interest in theO, her computer broke, she forgot about the site, she is busy with schoolwork, or that she has other priorities (work, familial issues, mental health, etc.) that don't allow her to check the site regularly.
Either way, you're a good friend for wanting to check in with her!
I agree. I'm sure there's a logical reason behind it. Sit back and relax a bit. It's easy to worry about friends online, especially when they don't live near you at all. I bet everything's fine ^^ just give her time.

@DarlingV:
I see. Hopefully she returns soon so you can get ahold of her!
That's cool that you live in Australia, I'd love to visit there someday.

I understand that thing about worrying, so I'm not trying to berate you.
You two must be pretty close if this causes you to feel uneasy.

My advice is;
don't panic.
Just be patient and wait, I'm sure there's a reason to why she's not responding.
