So, Birthday 2011 was pretty much the best.
It started out with a mysterious message outside my window. Following a cryptic introductory poem, there was a riddle waiting to be solved. After a series of tasks which involved math, logic, code-cracking and even digging something up in my back yard, I received the best birthday present since Deathly Hallows was released on my birthday in 2007.
Box after progressively smaller box was torn open to reveal an entirely ordinary copy of the seventh book. One more riddle led me to the very back of the book where I would find my HOGWARTS ACCEPTANCE LETTER!!!!
I, Paper X. Moon, will be leaving for Hogwarts, Orlando FL. August 4th and never coming back!
I just had to tell someone since everyone in my life hates me now since I get to go and they don't. :[
So, to sum up how I'm feeling, I'll leave it to a Disney Princess:
There's only about 12 more hours left.
I have to work at both of my jobs, and thus far, it is excruciating.
There's a terrible conflict within me, like brother wands forced to battle each other. I have been waiting for this for ages and yet... this is the end. Are we ready to say goodbye to Harry? Not by a long shot, but this does mark an end of an era, both for the world and for the private me.
For so many, this series has acted as an escape, a crutch, and a perfectly good excuse for a party. Fans will go on loving the books/movies and pass them on to new generations of witches and wizards.
It does not stop my heart from breaking, for this, my childhood, is on it's last few pages. And while I do look forward to what will happen next in my life's story, I will always find time to look back on my past chapters spent swooning over Harry, Ron, Hermione, Professor Snape and Hogwarts.
Today, I skip around in the countdown a bit for a more appropriate image for this entry:
I will miss the midnight releases, the riddikulus lines, over-priced tickets and popcorn, the 'freaks' dressed like wizards including myself, and the complete madness of it all. Tonight as the credits light my tear-stained face, I will raise my ambivalent wand in the air and say, "Mischief managed."

Day 10 - It's supposed to be the House you'd hate to be in, but I don't really hate any of them, especially Gryffindor. But,as I received a request for him, here he is ^^
Due to an unlucky break, I spend all my free time working on a catalog for this big lighting company, and the untainted selfish side of me wants nothing more than to work on my founders portrait (and eat entenmann's chocolate donuts). I was becoming quite proud of it, but alas, I have to go on dealing with real-life-grown-up-BS.
Whatevs.

Day 5 - A character I'd like to date
Once again it's Remus Lupin.
Yes, I know he's a bit 'two-sided' and he can't hold down a job, but I just can't help myself when it comes to a man who can pull off a sweater vest.
I do admit to crushing on multiple hp characters, but Remus John Lupin has my heart and my pants.
