Riddle's Diary
Surprised it's not Ravenclaw's Diadem?
Well, out of all of the objects, the diary seemed the most... narrative:
- Riddle's Diary
- Marvolo's Ring
- Slytherin's Locket
- Hufflepuff's Cup
- Ravenclaw's Diadem
- Nagini
- Harry Freakin Potter!
With the exception of the last two, the diary was the one that could actually sort of reach out, and even possess someone. As a diary, it's function is to keep your trust and secrets. It's your 'little friend in your pocket' -dirty!- think of how cool it would be to have a book that writes back, and to have that friend stab you in the back is a terrifying, and ultimate betrayal!
Funny how Harry ends up stabbing it in the back.
Plus: bleeding ink is kickass!
