I think I'll post today.

"Life is a sexually transmitted disease."

Hey all.

So, it's been a while since I posted about anything, so I'm gonna go back to events from a week ago.
Last weekend I was in a Nabari no Ou slump, and took me till Monday to get out of it. I went to take the second portion of my GED on Saturday, which was Math first, then Reading. I finished my Math about forty-five minutes before the Reading test started, so I took a walk down the neighborhood of Geneva and saw that one of my favorite stores, Kiss the Sky records, was open. I grabbed a record, John Coltrane's Love Supreme. That's a keeper. It just envelopes you in sound, and I love it. Anywho, I got the grades back for the GED a few days ago, and it said 82% on the Math, which sounded about right, and 46% fucking percent on Reading, and I did a major WTF. Reading and Writing are some of my strong points, and this is backed up by my ACT scores. But after recalling the test in my head, I remembered that there were a lot of questions that had answers that could be interpreted differently, so I supposed I read too much in each situation. Curiosly enough, I still got above the minimum point requirement for the test, so life is good, I suppose.
That night, I went to go see a friends concert, but misread the date, and I was a week early. So I cruised over to Borders and picked up the first volume of the Nabari no Ou manga. I was actually in a dilemna, because the twelfth volume of DN Angel had caught my eye, and DN Angel had been put on the backburner for a few years now, so I was like, "Ooh, they're starting again! But Nabari no Ou...they're both eleven dollars...hmmm..." I ended up putting the together and eyeing which had more pages. NnO won. It's a pretty good manga, lot's of good art, and it's different enough from the anime that I won't go, "Seen it." They keep a lot of the same elements and outcomes, but interlude differently every now and then. It's like a WTF difference, such as Full Metal Alchemist, where they go as far as adding and removing characters, and switching names around every now and then.
I went to my first Synthesizer Technology class on Monday and Wednesday, and that was cool. I look forward to messing around in that; it'll be really handy for learning all these sound editing and recording programs I have that I don't know what to do with. Too bad it's full of Macs. Yuck.
Yesterday went to actual concert. Friends band is still kinda kiddie, (c'mon, when you have a name like Deities of Darkness...time to grow up.) They got better since I saw them about a year ago, to the point where it's not a bunch of crap noise, but I still have a few issues with it. I really liked the next band that came on, listened to a few songs, and dug the sound, although the singer was a bit pitchy. I walked outside where all the DoD groupies were, and I said, "Why aren't you in there? They're pretty goood."
"The singer sucks."
And...I didn't say anything significant to that, because their singer is...well...yea.
Today. Was. Brutal. Two eight mile races, came in 2nd in my heat and 1st in class for the first race, 1st overall in the second. And that goddamn headwind did not help the slightest. Not a slight little breeze, oh no, it was almost making white caps. And the motor boats didn't care for us much either. But still, good races, I did very well against a guy from Wisconsin, and actually probably would have beat him if not for the wind. But whatever. Between the two races, because I had extra money from mooching off of parents, I zoomed over to Borders and bought that DN Angel. Haven't read it yet.
And soon, MST, but I'll probably be too tired to either contribute or even stay.
I feel like dying. Ouch. Stupid paddling.
Oh, and for Kastom, who doesn't believe that I met Caboose on a Gmod server.

And he makes it so it only shows his information to friends.
