Yeah, I've had enough. I've decided I'll take the way of Schultzie and Fasterisk, and only pop in for Movie Sign, and any other little club chats that interest me. The thing is, I'm never going have what I say stop being misunderstood, or taken with the wrong attitude. No matter what, there would be times when it seems like I might be disrespectful, or vehemently arguing on any issue, whether it be petty or actually something substantial. Because it's chat. All we see are words, without really knowing what kind of person is speaking them, because we can't understand the phonic emphasis they put on those words. The reason I'm posting this is because a few times within the past weeks, I have basically been told to shut up every now and then because people thought I was arguing, pressuring, or badgering, when I really wasn't, or at least, I don't think I was. The thing that finally made me say 'enough chat' happened last night. So I gave myself some sleep, let my thoughts clear, and came to the conclusion that chat will always retain the status of being silly, and I don't need to be a part of it. This really isn't an opinion; check out the latest post on SunfallE's Moderation world for a prime example.
Also, a word of advice: The next time you see somebody say something on chat that may seem disrespectful, beligerent, or possibly hurtful to a mild degree, just remember.
IT'S.
JUST.
CHAT.
See you in Movie Sign,
-Ryu
