A small talk on games I currently play...

A mayor and a scientist are standing on a volcano. The scientist says, "She's gonna blow." The mayor responds, "Forget about her, what are we gonna do about this volcano?"

Few little update things real quick:
First canoe race of year today, even though it was labeled as a 'practice race'. Three boats entered, my uncle and I came in second. Guys who came in first were those damn fast people from Wisconsin. Curse you, performance-enhancing cheese...

I've started watching FMA. I've been up to date on the manga series ever since the first volume came out, but the anime has been over for a long time now, and even started a new series. Since I wanted to be current with the Brotherhood series, I started watching FMA, which turns out to be very very very different from the manga. Good choice there. Very optimistically, I'll be able to partake in the next Otaku chat on Brotherhood.

Our Jazz concert at school is on Wednesday. We are so screwed. We were kinda rushed through the repetoire, and I have no idea how I'm gonna do any of the solos. One of the song's isn't even ready yet and has yet to be rehearsed fully. I'll post a video if anything good comes out of it.

K, that's done...

I noticed that I've never really talked much about games. If I could imagine going into any other lifestyle other than music, which I can't, it would be game development/pro gamer. It's a passion, to say the least. However, it's slight frustrating because I have no money to get anything updated, such as nextgen console or modded PC. So I'm playing a lot of relatively old games, such as CS:S, DotA, and Gary's Mod, and every now and them bring up HL2DM, TF2, CoD (the first one lol) and even Quake 3 or 4. I'm REALLY gettin into DotA. That is fun. I suffered from a FPS slump after I went through an MMORPG phase, or more accurately, WoW (don't worry, I played on a private server so I didn't pay anything or get 'addicted'. I can safely say that I 'beat it' tho.) So playing a strat game like DotA that doesn't require high-on-cracklike reactions is good for me.
Gary's Mod is fun. Kastom, I think you'd REALLY like this game. LOTS of physics. It's really cool because you can get creative with the stuff you build, and when you play long enough, you start to get into this thing called Wire. Now you're basically programming your props to do virtually anything. Really complex though.
As for the future of what will be on Ryu's pc, I've been meaning to pop Starcraft back in to prepare for the highly anticipated Starcraft II. And those bastards still haven't said a release date...but hopefully, I'll be ready. I'm also slightly interested in Sims 3. I played Sims 2 to the point where I had about 3 generations, then realized that while my sims were leading very successful lives, I was just sitting in a chair staring at my monitor watching these dudes walk around and do stupid shit. I stopped playing after that, also with the thought "I CAN'T BEAT IT, THERE IS NO WAY TO BEAT SIMS" going through my head. I played Spore, did all I wanted to in that game (travel to center of galaxy, talk to Steve, then find Sol System) then uninstalled it. So I'm kinda on weird ground with Maxis right now, as in, they're a waste of life, but potentially fun.
I really want a 360. Must...play...Star Ocean...4!! But at the same time, I want a PS3. Must...play...Metal Gear Solid...4!!! Also, the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3 will come out on PS3, whenever they decide to make em...I need a job. :(

I used the word I a lot in this post...I don't like that...Dammit, did it again!

Well, a farewell gift of this post will be a funny video I (shit!) found on somebody else's profile, and thought it was pretty funny, tho I (crap!) didn't completely understand it (never played Phoenix Wright, just heard a lot about it from Katana.)
