I hadn't seriously written anything (not creative writing, anyway) for years either before writing Overture, and I wrote like crazy before stopping too. And I have trouble writing anything longer than a one-shot as well! SEE, WE ARE THE SAME. :D

And your smut would balance out my non-smut. xD

I honestly don't know. I was staring at my Word document (probably thinking, I want this fic to be over already) and then the line "I'm just trying to figure you out" popped into my head. And then I thought, hey this could be a poem! And then I forced the rest of it out. As I said, word spew. :3
