Your art teacher had no right to say that. He/or she could actually get into some serious trouble if they get caught saying things like that. The best thing to do is probably ignore them, but if it happens again you should report the teacher. I'm sure someone will be willing to hear you guys out. People like that shouldn't be teachers.
I hate it when teachers use silly things like that. ~_~ Using a dog clicker is kind of insulting too. I had an Algebra teacher in College who would talk to the whole class like we were a bunch of kids. She had a bad habit of talking down to people. *grumble* Makes me mad just thinking about it! XD lol

A dog clicker, REALLY!? That's just stupid. You're students, not dogs. Wow your teacher must be mental or something. I've had my fair share of crappy classes so I can relate.
My history class in 10th grade was terrible. They always acted up, talked loudly, distracted those like me who actually wanted to learn and kept me from learning. So yeah the students in that class sucked. The class was good though.
Hang in there ok? I also think your teacher's comments were over the line and extremely offensive. Just do your best and ignore him or her. It won't last forever.
