Let me introduce myself. I sign my art as "Kasey-chan", so feel free to call me that. My interest in drawing started when my sister and I went down to the book store and we discovered How-To-Draw-Anime books. It took off from there.
When I'm not scribbling away I am pursuing work in theatrical properties, spending way too much time on Netflix, watching too much TV, and wishing radioactive waste really did give people superpowers.

Hey all!
Well, I was able to get another fan art up, and it looks like a lot of people liked it, so that makes me happy. ^-^. It really wasn't my favorite though, I wish I could have made the outline a little darker on photoshop an then it would have turned out 10 times better. oh well. I still really love the hair, that's why I drew the pic, after all. So I should be posting another fan art in a little bit called "Ophelia's Ghost". Yes, it is related to Hamlet. We had to read that play for one of my classes and I really enjoyed going over it. So I did a little fan art about, surprise surprise, the ghost of the suicidal Ophelia. yea, so keep an eye out for that one.
So I get to go home again this weekend, which I am super siked about ^-^!!!!! My sister is in her school's homecoming parade and it's my cousins/moms birthday party. I really can't wait.
Oh yes, I got my first Otaku gift, which I am really happy about, except that I don't know how to get it. The stupid computer won't let me! but, I'll keep trying! Thank you so much Gadriann, I'm so happy ^-^.

It's my first day back from fall break. I wish it could have lasted another week! My sis and I got to see a lot of family members and hang out with our good high school friends who go to different colleges now. That was a lot of fun. We went up to Millersville University where my one friend goes. There was a Boys LIke Girls concert going on but we didn't go to that. Instead we just hung out and the went to see The Duchess at The Allen theater. I really enjoyed it, especially the costumes! But if you go into it expecting a fairy-tale love story or a strong character that changes society story, then you probably won't like it. The movie depicts real life back then and what it was like for a lot of women in that position. So it's only semi-happy in the end. However I've seen a lot of asian movies and animes that ended a lot worse happy-wise, so it didn't bother me lol.
Yea so I didn't get a lot of things drawn over break because I was just too busy. It was sort of disheartening because I really wanted to get a lot of ICC pages drawn. Oh well. They'll get posted when they get posted I guess. I did do a re-do of 2 really old twin characters that I drew a lot a long time ago, so maybe I'll get that one up by tomorrow.
So now I need to memorize a scene for one of my theatre classes, I've been putting that off for a while lol. I'll try and catch up with you guys though ^-^.

Well, its the first time in a while that I've had to sit down and type out a post! My play is almost over, we just have tonight and tomorrow night, but we're all sold out ^-^. It's so much fun, it'll be bittersweet when it's over. On one hand, I'll actually have time again. On the other hand, I'll miss all my fellow cast members.
Anyway, this week is FALL BREAK!!!! So hopefully you'll be seeing more ICC pages up soon. I actually have like 2 of them done, but I want to have a lot to post in a row. It's annoying to have just one new page to read, no? So I'll let you know when I post those.
AAAnnnnddd speaking of posting, I just got a fan art up so please check it out ^-^. Yea, that one was a sort of on-the-fly pic, but it turned out good.

Well, big news, I actually started ICC back up!!!! Yay, for those of you who may be new (though I'm pretty sure there aren't many of those who comment on my posts lol) ICC is my fan manga Iron Cross Contract. Yea...as for Moriko No Akakonami...maybe next semester lol. Anyway, Im super siked to be doing ICC! I already started the first two pages and I hope to have at least three pages done by monday. I'll try to do as many as I can tonight whilst I stay up late watching Family Guy (if I can find it).
So college is going great. I spend quite a bit of time in the theater but I really love it, so it's not bad. The only time I was rather bitter about play practice was last night when I MISSED THE OFFICE PREMIERE! AND JIM PROPOSED TO PAM!!!!! HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED THAT?!? Yea, so I'll be watching that episode online very very very soon.
Oh, and for all of you who asked, my play is called "This Just Might be The Ride of You're Life". It's a pretty cool show, I can't wait. I only have like 5 line though, the rest of my scenes are in mime lol. Yup, I'm a mime, though a pretty inexperienced one (eh heh). Well, I'm working on that and I'll do my best. It's nice to only have 5 lines to memorize though. The play is really artsy fartsy so we have cool lights, marimabas, a saxaphone, elevated stages, and dance moves ^-^. So even though it's a bit *snap snap* poetry night at the coffee house *snap snap*, the art of it and the awesome writing of the previous students really makes it a show worth seeing.
Yup so we read Hamlet in my dramatic lit class and I decided to draw Ophelia's Ghost. I was laughing to myself while reading the actual play because I kept thinking, "Alas, poor Yorrik, I knew him...IN AMERICA!" and "Poor King Hamlet didn't stand a GHOST of a chance!" lol. Yu Gi Oh Abridged gets me every time ^-^.
Well, I have to get going to practice

Yay! Through play practice, homework, and social events, I finally got an art posted!!!!!!! Yessss!
Well this play is taking up a lot of my time, but it really is a lot of fun. I can't wait to perform, it'll be so cool ^-^. The homework isn't as bad as I thought, but between that, the play and my job, it's hard to get done. As far as my social life I dont have any best buddies yet, but I do talk to a lot of people. I'm learning to get myself out there lol. Over all, I really like college.
So whats up guys?! how have you been?! It feels like so long, though I have popped up here every now and then to do some commenting.
