Let me introduce myself. I sign my art as "Kasey-chan", so feel free to call me that. My interest in drawing started when my sister and I went down to the book store and we discovered How-To-Draw-Anime books. It took off from there.
When I'm not scribbling away I am pursuing work in theatrical properties, spending way too much time on Netflix, watching too much TV, and wishing radioactive waste really did give people superpowers.

So took some quizzes here and a couple on quizilla, and here are my results. This is mostly for my benefit so I have all the results in one place when I go to draw. Note: I took a bunch of quizzes that said a lot of different things, so I took the most popular results. Also, I'm not sure where these quizzes are getting goth (is surprisingly popular), I'm not really a goth at all, but maybe in anime????

So randomly I decided to take all the quizzes here on otaku that told me my anime eyes, hair, personality, fighting style, look ect and then combine my results into one fan art. I thought it would be interesting to draw my anime self according to the O. :P. I'm not finding many personality and look quizzes though. If anyone knows any good quizzes, let me know :). Perhaps I should re-visit my old stomping grounds on quizilla.
In other art news I have two inked pics that need to be scanned and one in the pencil stages :). I'm so happy to be drawing so much this summer!
Also life update quickly: Added on another short beach trip, a trip to Baltimore, and a college visit for one of my friends who is deciding wether to go there or not. I just hope I can get my summer school work and my theatre job done before the summer is over 0.o.

Well just got back from a summer vacation up to my cousin husband's cabin, and am now back and working again. Most of what I have to do is summer reading from the theatre school I'll be attending next semester. I've got to read and buy 13 plays, pick 4 monologues (1 Shakespeare, 1 classical, and 2 modern/contemporary) to work on over the summer, and pick 2 songs (1 slow and 1 fast). So much to do! I also have to get a physical done before I go, which sucks because the doctor's office is one of my least favorite places in the whole world to be. And as an extra special treat, I'm switching from my pediatrician to a big girl doctors office, so I have to fill out all this paperwork. Yay. Long story short, life is a tad stressful right now, but I have all but one of my plays read and bought so can budget out the other stuff over August. The trick is to just take this one day at a time.
On a more positive note, my sister and I have discovered Mystery Science Theatre 3000, which is keeping us immensely entertained and taking a lot of stress of the brain. :). I highly recommend this hilarious series! It's 11 seasons, bonus episodes, and a movie, so it will keep you entertained for a while.
On another positive note, I have a nice vacation to look forward to at the end of August. I hope to get all this summer work done before then.

My lovely siblings and I are going to see The Last Airbender tonight :D. Apparently it didn't get great reviews, which is kind of down-heartening, but I still am excited to see it anyway! I figure even if the movie is a total disappointment, I still have the entire series to watch anytime I want. As long as this film is popular enough for a second one so Toph can come in, I'm happy.
In other new exciting things coming out news a new Artemis Fowl book comes out in August :D. I really am way too old for that series, but when you get hooked on it, your hooked. Really, how crud like Twilight becomes a pop culture sensation while imaginative, awesome things like Artemis Fowl remains an obscure piece of literature, I'll never know.
Yup so in other life news, I have three more arts to post up, one being one of my requests. . . I should really be faster with those things.
I'm not sure what these are, but I want one!

Recent Life Choices! Basically a life update in list form. . .
1. I made a new world reviewing online manga! This is probably a poor life choice, because I will be reading online manga instead of doing more enriching activities (drawing, exercising, reading, summer homework etc.) However, I hope that I'll get some readers :).
2. I am trying to juggle drawing an Avatar: The Last Airbender fan art before the movie comes out in 6 days, 2 requests that I've barely started (sorry!), my fan manga, and one other fan art in the planning process. This is possibly a poor life choice haha.
3. Bought an Air Nomad shirt to wear on opening night of The Last Airbender. I also changed my otaku avatar to celebrate the opening. Awesome life choice. However, I may end up having to work the next morning at 7:00 am, but I will probably see the movie anyway. This will be a very poor life choice.
4. I'm going antiquing with a college friend this weekend. Good life choice :).
5. I need to get a whole bunch of plays and theatre books for my summer homework that I am assigned from NTI (National Theatre Institute, I'll be spending next semester there). I'll probably go to the library tomorrow. Good life choice.
6. I hope to be on this site more and more involved. Good life choice!
I always think about this when watching period movies :)
