Had a great time traveling along the east coast these past few days :). We went on the beach a lot, went boating and saw dauphins, and ate some pretty awesome food (can't beat the delectable greasiness of boardwalk delights :D). Also did a little shell collecting and found about 5 pieces of sea glass, which made me happy because I never EVER find it. For a while now I've been collecting shells from all the beaches I go to and putting them on display in glasses, so it's always nice to add to the collection.
Now, however, the fun is over, and although I have a bit of time left before school, it's starting to hit me that summer is drawing to an end. Soon I'll be going 7:30am-10pm 7 days a week (the theatre school I'll be going to is pretty hardcore). Adding to my end-of-summer gloom is the fact that this is my last day with my twin before she goes off to Japan for a semester :(. Needless to say, today has not been the best day ever, but on the up side it's a gorgeous day. I hate to say it, but I am a little anxious for the semester to be over already, which isn't really a positive way to start haha. Oh well. Really all I can do is accept the changes and live in them to the fullest. Take everyday as it comes. This is a philosophy that's been pretty helpful to me over the years.
So in the meantime, schoolwork, mst3k, and hopefully social engagements will keep me in my usual happy, positive state of mind. I can also think of the upcoming semester as more of an adventure than an obstacle :).
Well that's all I've got. Here's a pic!
Have fun otaku-ing!
