Funny that you should find Seed interesting and Wing boring. I felt quite the opposite. Wing kept me enthralled through every episode, and I simply did not last an episode of Seed because it just never captured my attention. It is true, though, that the drama is not exactly fast-paced through the first half of Gundam Wing, and the political/military stuff can drag a little if you're not into that sort of thing.

I am glad you like the characters, which seems to be where most non-fans lose interest in the series. The more I watch it, the more I find depth in the characters. I love how even the characters who don't live through one episode are vibrant enough to seem as though they should last longer. I have to say, though, I am not a very big fan of the yaoi stuff, though that is very much a personal opinion. I don't hold anything against the people who are, I just don't really see it (except Quatre...he makes me wonder about him sometimes...).

I have not seen the other Gundam series, but I plan on getting around to it in course of the next year.
