As the title suggests, I was able to get out and do stuff today.
Dad and I both got haircuts. I've let it grow a little, just as an experiment, but in the end I still prefer it short.
Then we stopped in at Best Buy and took a look at external hard drives. I'm still in the process of trying to get my 500GB drive fixed (if I can), but we decided it would be better to get a new one anyway, and I went all the way to a 2TB drive. I also bought Top Gear Season 10.
Lastly, a quick stop at the book store. I got one Doctor Who book, Autonomy, and a copy of Dune, because I've been meaning to read it for a long time.
Now I'm backing and munching on my lunch. Omnom. P:
So I got up today and discovered that my 500 GB hard drive had once again randomly disconnected itself... Only this time, it didn't connect again. And the computer is acting like it's brand new hard ware, and won't let me re-install it without a software disc, which I don't even remember if this thing even has. I seriously hope the things isn't dead and I can't get back into it, because it holds all my music, Doctor Who, MST... not to mention the story I'm working on. >>; I can't access any of it now.
UPDATE:
Just got back from Best Buy, hoping Geek Squad could do something about the drive. Their computers couldn't read it either, and because breaking into it would invalidate the warranty, all they could tell me for now was to contact the manufacturer and see what they have to say about it. =3=

Tonight I discovered the two classic color Dalek films from the 1960s on You Tube.
In 1965 an '66, between seasons of the TV series, two color feature films were released: Dr. Who and the Daleks and Daleks' Invasion Earth: 2150 AD based on the first two Dalek TV serials. In these film adaptations, Peter Cushing played the character of 'Dr. Who', and eccentric scientist who invents TARDIS, his space/time vehicle. You can find the first film HERE if you'd like to take a look.
And now for the question: would anyone be interested in joining in if I wanted to run special chats for these movies?
EDIT:
Glad to see people are interested in watching the films. ^^ Now we just have to figure out the best time to set up the chats so everyone can attend.
Karnivool is a band from Perth, Western Australia. Their style is a mix of progressive and alternative. I ordered their first album back in 2007 and enjoyed it, and at last they've released their second album, Sound Awake...
